Sorry guys , there is an unexpected delay in the Delivery. They[Yamaha] are planning to start delivery in Kerala only from July 1st. The dealers in Kerala will start selling the same day. They are planning some event on 30th and with that the official sales of the bike will begin. This is just the case in Kerala!Dont know about the scene in other states.
That means atleast a week.
So should we expect you to appear in the local papers with garlands around your neck and a bottle of champagne. :)
Jokes apart keep us posted.
When is Killer's bike expected
Hi guys, got the bike for a short ride today. I must tell you, it is one hell of a bike, and worth every single penny.
The superb seating position makes you feel like you are riding a superbike. Handling is superb and the MRF tyres are pertty grippy.
The motor feels super smooth, even when revved hard! and has enough grunt too. Though the lowend is a little poor, as the revs build up, the bike gains speed a lot faster. just imagine a unicorn's smooth engine with karizma's power!

Expect something around 40 with a tolerance of (+ or - 5) based on riding conditions.
Guys, not that its recommended but whats the best upsize for the R15 and which brand tyre is preferred???
Also what kinda bulbs does the R15 have.. Is it possible to put white headlights on it??

Its got 35 watts stock bulbs which obviously means that it will not be able to handle 55/60 watts bulbs like the pulsar 220 or it would have come with those in the first place.
What you can do is, install HID's on it since they need only 35 watts.
RoopakR - Yeah! That would be a safe assumption I guess.
Karthik - By any chance are you planning to get the R 1 5???:D
Do tell us your riding impressions. I think the possible upsize is
120/80 R 17 but do keep in mind that the R 15 comes stock with a
strange size of 100/80 R17.
Not sure about sourching white lights but I think the Pulsar 200
comes stock with 35watts "white" lights.
