thats an amazing conversion man!i read it on xbhp as well.have u checked the performance of ur bike as well? does it match the p180?

also did u put the cylinder of the dtsi p180 or the classic 180?

hey joel the cylinder is frm the classic,i hvnt gone outrite with the bike as yet as its in running in phase but the bike feels and moves like the 180 certainly!

how will an exp chamber work for a 4-st...it works only on 2-strokes...u gotta put a freeflow!

bcoz the combustion chamber of the classic head doesnt match with the piston crown of the dtsi,dtsi piston is made according to the combustion chamber of the dtsi head the psiton is surface is kinda flat as compared to curvical of the classic ,so cant really predict wt wud be the out come of using a dtsi blck piston in a classic.also i knw bout the free floe gonna make a custom pipe non restrictive.

One question here...


Are these kind of modification legal? I mean what about the insurance? They clearly mention the model in the insurance. Now since u have upped it to 180, will there has to be a change in the insurance policy accordingly?
Or is it that insurance guys will dumb enough that they will not be able to make out this upping of the engine?

What about RTO? Just curious…

i dont think this will be illegal..coz within a months time i ma gonna get my suzuki fiero frm 150cc to 182cc frm the tvs guys here in bangalore...so they say corps know no **** about bikes and moreover as far as the engine no and chasssis no is the same there is gonna be no prob whatsoever.

yup it will be a new 180cc block frm tvs! and this is gonna be an r&d work on mt fiero!
