If you have any suggestions, that will be much appreciated. BTW I'm not a techy spechy guy.

@arungee6: bike looks superb. Is that the RD handlebar you are running?
Also, the noise and excessive vibrations could be due to excessive play in the crank and in the cylinder.

Thanx dude,

Yep its a RD handle bar (after market). Well there is no problem with the crank or any other. I've actually checked it with the experts. Her engine is smooth as silk. There is just a sound of clutch play, when idle. She is clean. There is a missing at high revs plus vibration that's it.

Cheerscheers:

Here's my humble old bike

Its a '00 5-Speed with new 4 speed maroon tank+sidepanels, with a P200 frontend with 260mm disc brakes, a custom chamber built by a very good friend of mine using mota software and running a Keihin PWK28 and a custom made air filter. also have a topeak panoram V12 for a speedo and a pulsar tacho. running a Zapper FV 2.75x18 in the front and a Michelin M45 3.25x18 in the back. Have a separate 17" frontend with a R15 front tyre, but no time to fix it

Although I have a stock top end ( bore + head+porting) I dont get anything more than 13-14 KMPL

^^^Stops working at times??? Dude, that would be catastrophic!

Btw, how do you know its not working "at times"?

Normally, modern 2 cycle engines require 20ml/litre petrol or at the very max 30/litre... if you conditions are extreme.

But you cant just add this much oil in petrol tank when you say your pump works at times!!! Either dont use the pump and add oil in the petrol or get your pump fixed.

Did you change the triple clamp to a Pulsar's too?

I think that 'crash gaurd' would do more harm than it would protect. But that's just my opinion. Can you show us what the air filter looks like.

Just a single round tacho mounted looks good.

many rx series bikes owned by in my 12 years of biking.

1.My first rx is Rx100 1994 model, purchased as second hand in 1998 and ride it till 2001 as totally stock no modification. In my opinion highly reliable and good bike for learner or beginner at that time.

2.Rxz 4 speed 1998 model as second hand in 2004.totally in bad condition, rebuild it to like new condition.cost of rebuild is almost 14 k INR.but my Rxz is looker at that time cos of white paint job.totally stock no modification at only sprocketing for better FE.

3. my third rx is Rx 135 4 speed 1998 model as second hand purchased in 2008 may for dirt bike project but but resale the bike cos getting better bike in same money.

4. my fourth rx is Rx 135 5 speed bought in 2008 july.engine is totally stock and in good condition need no work at all.

before rebulid.

after rebuild.

Exhaust upgrade : custom made chamber for better performance.

Cdi upgrade :not needed.

Light coil up gradation : may be in future.

RIM conversion :looking for rear conversion from 18" to 17" or 16" for dirt bikes grip on tracks.

Disc brake upgrade :Front shocks and disk unit is of pulsar dtsi.

Body modification : front and rear mudguard is of fiber.handle is ROD type, rear shocks of gladiator's.

I Owned only one series of the Rx & that is the RX-100.1995 Model bought it second hand in 1998, Black colour with Golden Stripes. Clocked nearly 80,000Km before i bought a P-150 in 2005 & within 2005-2007 my friends managed to destroy the RX. Did a Total Rebuild in 2007 & she is still Running as Sweet as a Kitten (but the key is with me & for no one else now)
