Congrats Sankar on the new ride. Guess a smaller font of the number plate on the visor could have looked classy. Or is there some RTO guidelines for the same ?

akshay,
Are you talking about just the ZMA reflector ? Cos I have been using Philips Night Vision for the past couple of months on my Pulsar. Dont see any damage yet.

Praful, i want a handle bar with it's grip end slightly swept back like the RD or KB100/125 handlebar. The stock Karizma handle bar grip end is almost parallel to my shoulders. I thought the Pulsar handlebar would be like what i need but it is not. I'm considering getting the sari guard and kicker powdercoated in black.

Akshay, i might be changing over to a 55/60 bulb soon, because i plan to install better Bosch windtone type horns and with the 90/100 bulb it would draw too much from the battery. Since there aint not kick start i can't risk it

Fountainheader, yes i think i will change the front numbering to occupy slightly lesser surface area.

Sankar, Congratulations on your new possession. She is a beauty to have in the stable. Pls. post more pics.

With my limited knowledge, i always thought a P220 was better.

Prajeep, i'm not doing any running in man.. it's more like breaking in And i hope it doesn't break up! I'm using the bike as i would use it regularly but i'm being considerate.. lol The speed recommended by HH during running in is 60kmph i usually travel at a much higher velocity than that, but the engine being new i don't revv it to the redline or hold the revvs at the top for long.

Thanks Techno. Yes i'm putting the kicker back after i get it powder coated along with the sari guard.

Mansidea thanks! Hopefully i shall be able to take some better pics during the weekend. P220 is a good bike, but i believe that the Karizma would age gracefully than the P220.

Riju thanks mate! Hmm yeah.. you're right about the stickers.. there are too many 'R's on the bike :P

From where can i source good tyres in Trivandrum? I'm looking for Michelin, Pirelli or Zapper Q in 110 (or 120 but i prefer 110) section 18" diameter. This is for the ZMA's rear end.

And how good are the Ceat Vertigo in 120 section?

How about Michelin M45 in 4" x 18? Isn't it a bit too small for the rear?

What kind of helmet lock is that. Is it just hanging by the strap?

THe bike is looking real nice as expected.I have used th MRF 110mm rear tyres for a long time and found it actualy preety decent. And the visual diff between the 110 and 120mm is very less.

Mpower, the D ring of the helmet strap is locked inside the helmet lock. If the helmet doesn't have the D ring then this lock can't be used. Even the very first IND-Suzukis and the the RD350 had these kind of helmet locks. It's not very secure because if the thief cut the strap the helmet comes off.

Veelubhai, in which shop at Ernakulam can i find a decent collection of motorcycle tyres. Zapper Q, Michelins and Pirelli?

Yes I was talking particularly about Zma's reflector, but, you can face this issue with pulsars reflector as well.
By the way have you done coil rewinding?

Coil rewinding, not yet done. The battery is holding up without any issues. But i might go for a 9Ah battery. Will a 14Ah battery fit in the ZMA batt compartment? I have a almost new 14Ah with me.
