Today i bought a TVS headlamp relay with wiring kit, It's meant for cars and other vehicles but i will have to adapt it for the bike. Cost me 400 bucks. I didn't want to splice/slice any wire or use too much insulation tape for the relay kit i was planning that's why i bought the wiring kit. It's basically plug n play, i might have to extend the wire going to the battery thats all.

Hey Sammyboy i have posted few pics in the previous page. Anyways here's few more

Installed the TVS headlamp relay kit without cutting or splicing any of the stock wiring. From the TVS wiring kit i removed one set of holder and wire because there aint no second headlamp like in the car. That's the only thing i did and rest everything was just plug and play!

There's a lil bit difference in beam quality, but feels slightly more brighter and the best part is that the headlamp doesn't dim as much as it used to while the brake is applied. Only problem after this kit is installed is that the low beam and the high beam is mixed up. Got to swap out two leads of the wiring kit to rectify that.

So with headlamp, two indicators and brake light. The total consumption of power is 100w+21x2w+21x2w = 184w. Plus there are other lamps like 2x pilot lamps, 2x tail lamps & meter console assorted lights which are LEDs. So that is 184watt+3wx2+5wx2+6w(approx) = 184w+22w = 206w.

So the total approximate consumption can be estimated as 206w when all the lights are working. The stock alternator is rated at 188W.

Yes with the relays even stock light would be better since the bulb gets constant power.

You can take off the pilot lamps if you want the cosumption to be within the alternators capability.

btw did you notice that the LCD light is always on

As mentioned in this thread i was running Phillips Rally 100/90 hadlamp bulb on my Karizma.

I replaced the 100/90W Phillips with Phillips Xtreme Power +80% 55/60W bulb. I'm pretty amazed by the light output and range, it very closely matches the 100/90 i replaced!

Now there is no dimming of headlamp when brake lamp lights up or when the indicator is switched on.

It's almost as good as the Rally 100/90 the bike had previously. So obviously this should be better than the Rally 60/55.

Yep it comes in pairs, it cost me 850 for a pack of two.

Got the lower engine cowl removed and installed a pair of Stebel Windtones in it's place. I like the look without the engine cowl, it looks functional and in my eyes aesthetically more balanced. Rear tyre in the picture is Pirelli Sport Demon.

In the picture the bike is half washed using Formula1 car wash, only front and top done, and it started raining so i took a break and shot this photo. Formula1 carwash was beading water pretty well. After the wash i wiped the bike dry and polished it with Formula1 wax polish. (I was looking for Tutle Wax when i went shopping but didn't get it).
