Wish I had the pics of the two modified bikes my friend used to have.

One was a Kinetic Honda that used to look like a christmas tree on wheels with an obnoxiously loud music system, a small TV etc. (and also from which I have taken a mighty bad spill from it after it was un-modded). The next bike of his was a Kawasaki RTZ that was modified to look like a Ninja. Will never forget the experience at a gas station when a real Kawasaki Ninja ridden by a firang pulled up next to us. We were drooling at the real deal and the snooty son of a gun sure did make us eat his dust when he revved and zoomed out after filling fuel.

Well i am najz...This is my Honda Unicorn upgraded.. Well, you can see that, seeing the snaps below. I spend 10k over its modification. The modification's are as follows- the front tyre is of "YEZDI's" (bike), the rear tyre is sized at 130 (Baracuda), aluminium silencer, Halogen bulb, short handle, raised suspensions, belly and bike guard.. this unicorn is the only one, upgraded, from the stock look, in the entire Pune.. Last thing i would be doing is to fit in K&N filters..

Nice Nikki...love the orange paint on the alloys.

BTW, guess the org front visor/shield would ahve been better.

hello bro.
after u put k&N in ur bike you the increase the size of the jet in order to provide enough fuel to the incresed air intake to maintain the 14:1 ratio. if you need any more info lemme kno.

Dude, y did u use 130 rear?? Theres no need for it. Performance will surely take a hit. Rather you should have gone for 100-110 high profile tyres to give that FAT rear looks. Also that yezdi's front tyre wont assist ur bike's handling.
And do u really think that K&N is gonna work?? do one thing.. time your bike before switching to K&N and do the same after changing. see the result for yourself. I think its more of a psychological thing than real performance upgrade.

Moreover, doesn't the tread pattern on rear-tyre compromise grip on wet surfaces? In good old days, I remember having some bad experiences with MRF-Zappers on my RX-135. Your tyres may be much better than MRFs though!

Thanks

Thanks guys for ur comments...I put the dirt type tyre ahead for better control or say for better grip...and i wanted to go for 140 rear tyre but 130 is the maximum tyre i can fit so that was the only option left with me....Go on ur comments and suggestions...If any one has proper idea about the air filter and jetting work for my unicorn ( I DONT CARE FOR MILEAGE ... i just want speed) please let me know and i would be really thankfull..bye for now....

You should not have bought the Uni at first place if all you wanted is 'SPEED'.
Go for K&N with proper re-jetting with a competent mechanic.

does have some creativity, but serious lack of refinement .
