i have very nice memories of this bike.

most scariest - riding this beast at 105 kmph. shook every damn bone in my body.
^^^ So so true. I have one myself, its a pain to drive in the city traffic. Once you are on the open road, the "wow" feeling of the thumper with wind caressing down on you, its something to be experienced.

Oh yes, long live the kind. Hail Ceaser.

Cheers

Thats really Sad. My first experience with the 350 was very recent and a long lasting one. Rode the beast for about 540 kms and I can still feel the thump in my ears !

One more reason for the used 350's prices to head northwards !

Even the same happened when I bought my Shogun, it got discontinued later to my booking !

Just feel sad that RE couldn't continue the CI350 with emission mods. Any way, it is time to move on. The Royal Enfield STD350 has finally become a classic that can't be bought brand new from the showroom.

Cheers,

Jay

Finally my dear old friend is a classic....
Sad that it couldnt be tweaked for the current emission norms but I guess it was about time...
But Rest in peace for my 25 year old brute ?????
No chance in Helll...Still lots of miles to go and lots of touring to do...
Everyone still makes way for a bullet.

25 year old brute? Sir,the RE STD350 has completed 60 long years in India itself and 70 since it was first produced in 1939. :-)

Cheers,

Jay

The Legend lives, albeit for a couple of more months.

Just had a word with a friend at Royal Enfield. He said that production of the STD350 hasn't yet been stopped. The supply to Karnataka has been stopped right now and maybe in January, the supply to Kerala and other states also will be stopped. Till then, the STD350 will continue to be produced.

Cheers,

Jay
