The price seems reasonable to me. This lock set consists of 4 locks (handle/ignition lock, petrol tank lock, side panel lock and seat locks) which operate with the same key. The lock set is original Minda make. Cheaper duplicate parts may be available, but I was interested in the original parts only.

Bangalore is costly compared to other cities, prices may be low in other cities.

What irritates us is not the price, but the non-availability of these spare parts at Yamaha A.S.S.

One small advise--
use both the keys(alternately), so that both wear out evenly,
i change mine after every service
