I have a RD. I know. Not as well as a Yezdi owner may know but somewhere close maybe.

So those hoarding spares are going to keep them for 14-15 years starting now?

If they will have so much value in the next 14-15 years someone will manufacture them. Price maybe higher but then the availability is the issue.

Also 14-15 years back when the Yezdi and other bikes were being manufactured production of spares was not as easy(read better technology as of now).

Anyways maybe if you hoard the parts now we will see people make a quick buck like the ones who have RD spares acting as demigods.

the only reason to stock the spares now would be to avoid going to such kind of demigods and keep falling at their feet every time the bike needed spares.

Boss, remember the ant and the grasshopper story. I am just being the ant!!! And as far as the spark plugs go a spare one always comes handy. The same goes for clutch and accilerator cables. I am just following the advice of the baap of all Bullet manuals by Pete Snidal.

A paranoid ant at that.

I am the grasshopper, prefer to have my fun now instead.

15 years from now if I have a Bullet it will be more as an example/exhibit for my children to know how tough a life i lived when I was their age.

Happy hoarding.

I'm just 26 man. I want to ride the Bull until the day all vehicles running on fossil fuel are banned!!! For this dream to come true, this kind of drastic and paranoid measures are necessary.
Cheers

You are missing out on life man. At that age you should be riding something fast and scary. Not something that is slow and risk free. With age you will not be able to get on the faster bikes.

I have been riding bikes from the 'tender age' of 15. I started off with my dad's RX 100 and then 'graduated' with his Roadking. The RX is still around to give me the occasional thrills.
For getting a real scare, I would prefer bungee jumping, not overspeeding on a motorcycle.
Bulls have their charm and risk too. Even tried pushing a Bull for 5-6 km when it runs out of fuel or breaks down in the middle of nowhere!!!

The stock VM26 is good enough for most performance mods. What exactly are you looking for regarding the mods?

Cheers,

A free flow filter plus a free flow muffler with a rejet done right will give you 25% more power across the rpm range. This is about the safe limits for a stock bottom end. If you want more power than this, you need revamp your bottom end completely before you do any changes to the top end. All these mods can be done keeping the stock carb intact.

Cheers,

Jay
