Thankyou for your replies Ess, Ashok & Roy. I have noted all the suggestions / points. Yesterday I went to the dealer as i wanted to put the petrol locking Fuel cap along with lockable 'T'. I have told my dealer to assemble old model hubs, fortunately i got leg guard also - it will be chromed and have ordered for Minda indicaters too.

Regarding, tool box design, he told me that till 1962 the tool box was flat in design but thereafter it was, as is there on my bike.

Regarding fenders, he was not sure.

I would be more confident if more people here confirm about the tool box and the fender design. I will get it, if required.

Regarding Fuel tank, Yes! the knee pads will be there next time i re-do the bike.

One Bullet mechanic has told me that he has the original 1962 design of muffler - that i will be getting on coming Sunday - let's see. Can anyone tell me how to check for the original muffler? He says 'Madras' is written on that.

Regarding chrome fenders & seats - it appeals to my eye. However, if fenders are not the original ones, i will get the original ones and get them painted. Next upgrade, whenever i do, will be the painted ones with knee pad on fuel tank.

No, my bullet does not have Magdyno setup and horns are new. No, the handle bar does not vibrate.

I sincerely appreciate the suggestions I am receiving. I am sure my bike will come out to be much better than what it is now.

Thanks & regards

Re: 'Rara Avis' - 1967 Model - G2 Engine Bullet - Revamped

I came to this thread while searching for G2 engine details in bullet.
Why an engine called G2 for bullet? What is the difference between G2 and other CI engine?
