compromise on top end - you cannot have everything. ideally u should be targeting strong low end torque , fat midrange and scary top end - without any flatspots - that what i like anyway . it might take a long time to get there depending on ur tuner and the feedback you give - things get very complicated on a chamber - any weakness is amplified by it. cannot recommend jet sizes - dont upjet like crazy , upjet in sizes of 10 and see where ur performance starts to drop. check ur plug - rust brown = ur very close. u should hopefully being going to a experienced hand who knows what hes doing so you dont have to break ur head on jetting.
Haha you got it right 2StrokeJunkie . I am addicted to this.
Greedy! I am getting greedier with each modification. The more the merrier!

1) I am willing to compromise on top end, Its not everyday that you would want to touch 125 KMPH, especially with those excellent brakes of RX

2) A 2 Stroker is known to be the quickest to race past that slowly moving truck, ahead of anyone else. Need to the Initial pick up by what ever means possible

3) My current Tuner is Yousuf Bhai of BMW Motors ( Bangalore Motor Cycle Works) . Have you heard of him ?

4) Who is your tuner ? And can you please post some pics of your chamber. Would love to see it.

5) I am also considering a mild port Job for the bike.

SO this weekend plan is Mild Exhaust Port Job + Decarb engine + Upjet + Tune.

Hi Sameer

1) good decision - though the brakes are manageable
2) The answer to your quest are here on this thread - go through it again.
3) Will not comment on Yousuf - you should be the best judge of that. If you are unhappy i would recommend a guy called Zak. Very capable tuner and a good person. His bikes move.
4) My tuner is the internet and the work is done by a cutlet who has a hole in the wall garage just behind my house. My chamber is built by NASA - sorry its "Classified"
5) All the best.

ps: my personal advise do not port ur bore or your 5 speed head until u find the right guy to do it. Once damaged by a monkey it cannot be repaired.

1) If RX brakes are manageable, then it just shows that you are a staunch RX fan

2)

3) Looks like you know more about Yousuf Bhai than what you revealed. Of course there is nothing personal about it. I believe its ok to share tuner reviews on this forum. Would love to hear from you. I have heard of ZAK, but never visited him. Please pass on his number

4) Couldn't quite follow whats classified about a chamber ?

5) Yeah I agree would take some reviews before I get that port job done

Re: CAT Vs Expansion chamber Vs RX100 Silencer : For RX 135 5Speed

Got my bike re-tuned again with another senior Tuner.
Woaah I am loving this. The Bike has turned into a hooligan. Anything above 4-5K RPM is just pure violence.

And whats with the de-clutch effect on chambers? Man! When I de-clutch from nowhere a volcano erupts. I am loving this

Not yet buddy. The bike is doing wonders just with Carb Tuning. But I plan to do Upjet + Port in the coming days.

Whats your experience with Expansion Chambers ?

My experience with Chamber's has been a mixed one.
Had it on the 5 speeder, and due to lack of technical know how, here upnorth,i was not able to find suitable jets for it.
Performance wise-it was just amazing, didnt time it,but i am sure she was doing 0-100 in under 10 secs,no indian bike, even came close to the acceleration, and Power wheelies could be pulled off effortlessly.
Down side-the engine blew.
Now i am back to stock exhaust, and got a 16" rear tyre, and the stock one too sounds amazing, and yeah, the bike was ported at the time of rebore, not sure of the specs,as it was with my friend then.

Performance wise even my bike is doing really really well. I do not know what exactly caused your engine to blow up ???? Only chambering cant be a reason enough to blow up the engine ? Right ? and what pistons you running on the 5speeder now
