Starter and Alternator Repairs - Best Auto Electrical Works (Mumbai)

Services offered:

Servicing and repairing of altrernator and starters of any make

What I like:

Very staright-forward and honest people to deal with
Had given my Petra for alternator repairs and there was noise from the brake assembly which I noticed after taking the car back. The RHS tyre had to be removed to gain access to remove the alternator. The owner along with his mechanic came all the way to Juhu to rectify and I was not even requested once to get the car to their workshop.

What I don't like:

Not open on Sundays
Traffic is a big issue if you reach after 10 AM

Pricing:
Not sure about the pricing as I had not asked for a quote from any other workshop. But comparing the price of a new alternator for a Fiat Petra I found the prices to be resaonable.

Speciality / USP:
Can repair starter and alternator of any make

As the 'discoverer'

of BEST auto electric when he saved me 10k by repairing my palio alternator for 2.8k instead of a new one for 13, I also vouch for Shekhar.

Has the necessary brains, machinery and tools in a neat small workshop. Has solved tricky problems of other palio owners.

Is honest and straight and rates are extremely reasonable.

He has a garage/space alliance with a garage off Peddar road where he often gets the work done since parking is at a premium in the Kennedy Bridge area.

Overall highly recommended

+1 to that. I got the altrenator for my GTX repaired at Best Auto almost 18 months ago and no issues till date. He is indeed a Genuine One.

Looks like a great recommendation, thanks for sharing guys! Does he do other electrical work too? I'd give anything to find the right guy for misc work (headlamp upgrades, rewiring the horn etc.)

I think his expertise is in repairing alternators and starters. He has got all the tools and machinery needed to repair starters and alternators at the Kennedy Bridge workshop

Guys if you are at Mahim then there is PAI AUTO on 5 no. Road ShivajiPark . This Pai has more then 40 yrs in this field,infact in earlier days when this ALTERNATER in cars was not that common and used to be found in only imported cars he was the guy who used to repair them.
This aged guy is a genious,also he makes trips to Germany,Hongkong,Bangkok,USA time to time to keep himself updated.
He has two sons one is with him at Mahim and does servicing of Car AC.
He is called by his name BABLOO.
Elder one is based in Santacruz near Police Station he also does Auto Electricals jobs he is known as RAJU Bhai,he is very matured. Ihave got my work done on almost all my cars and find them GOOD.

I think he does those things (not used him for such stuff personally). Saw him fix the horn of a Tavera while I was waiting, and given the fact that he also is an exide dealer, I would think he is multifaceted. Give him a call
