Nice Review.
Does anyone know when this Range Rover is coming to India.

Re: Range Rover (4th Generation) : Driven

W-O-W!! Absolute looker, this one.
I have always been a fan of the looks of the Range Rovers. Classy, yet timeless.

She's beautiful, but oh so expensive. Maybe, someday Ill own one of these. Someday. I loved the one in red. Rarely does one get to see a red Range Rover on our roads. They are the usual black/silver, that one sees.

Good to see Team BHP going international. First with the JLR review in Germany and England, and now this. And what a lovely destination to conduct an event!

So, lemme ask you this, Ajmat. Which terrain did you enjoy driving on, the most?

Re: Range Rover (4th Generation) : Driven

Wow....... cant say anything. This is another beauty from JLR.

This is one of the best car. It could take up any kinda roads. Oops, it could go anywhere . No roads are required.

The price tag indeed puts away many customers.

Ajmat, Is it going to be officially launched in india?
If possible could you please let us know more about the engine. Also you have said that the car was designed to run even at 5000 ft of height easily. How was that attained? because, for such a big engine, Doing offroading at such height wouldnt give enough oxygen.

Re: Range Rover (4th Generation) : Driven

Nice write-up. Is this the first time they are offering the panoramic roof ? Don't remember seeing any Range Rovers here in Mumbai with the panoramic roof. Personally i like the look of the present Range Rover's, they have a certain aspirational value in India & this car is bound to do well here!
I believe its going to be launched in March here in India.

The tail-lamp design of the 4th generation RR seems to be inspired by the XUV5oo!

Re: Range Rover (4th Generation) : Driven

This is proof that it takes Europeans to do a luxury badge, I can't imagine a Jap/Korean SUV that will be half as impressive. The Range Rover still has what it takes to be a serious competitor to luxury sedans, without compromising its off road credentials.

The price tag, when you include duties is acceptable. This car gets eyeballs like no German SUV can today, exclusive, expensive and expansive.

Re: Range Rover (4th Generation) : Driven

Fantastic Report of the very capable machines. Loved the photos in the Ravine and the water. Wall paper material.

Good going by Teambhp.

A well deserved 5 star rating for this thread.

Re: Range Rover (4th Generation) : Driven

Team-BHP is widely known for two (amongst other vastly popular sections) things:

- Official Reviews.

- Travelogues.

And what you've done Ajmat, is manage to dish-out a supreme blend of the two. A drive through exotic places while gorging on great food and reviewing one of the most desirable cars around makes me go green with envy. The Rangie is arguably the ultimate rich-man's road-trip tourer-car when the quality of road is questionable.

I've got to hand it to you, Sir. You've spoiled us with something that can't be considered just a review. It's so much more. Bookmarked and Subscribed!

Re: Range Rover (4th Generation) : Driven

Wow, this was breathtaking, thank you Ajmat Sir- you must have thoroughly enjoyed every bit and more, your writing style is exquisite and takes transports the reader with the intricate description and details.
Its a total stunner, with so much gadgetry involved, I am sure it would take some time getting used to;
I am imagining things here - "how would it feel if cars would talk to me to raise her another 65mm while driving?" Ans. Simply Wow
This is one of my dream cars, dream till I buy one someday!

Cheers,

Whoa! An excellent review there Ajmat.

Well deserved 5 star material.

I always had a thing for Range Rovers. They look classy. Hope to see this is India soon. JLR is doing a good job with its current portfolio. Indeed different from the regular German trio.

Re: Range Rover (4th Generation) : Driven

A breathtakingly detailed writeup Ajmat with some stunning shots to boot.

A fitting review of a magnificent car presented in a style only you can. Also delighted to see T-BHP transcending borders now as far as scope and recognition are concerned. You must feel blessed!

Kudos again on a masterpiece. Hooked. Subscribed!
