I am looking at an M Sport, but it doesn't seem to have the M kit installed.
Wondering what I should look for or is missing.

Thanks
Wheels are the first giveaway. M sport goes 1 inch bigger and has a different design.

Second giveaway from interior perspective would be the anthracite black headliner and pillar trims.

For cross verification punch in the VIN into any legit online decoder and it will give you every option of the build with codes.

The RC book says 330i M Sport.
I am guessing the chrome grille threw me off a bit as I was expecting a black one.
Taking the car to the service center for a diagnostic check on Thursday.
Black was only with later models, which were a Shadow edition special. It got gloss black finish tail pipe ends too.

Thanks!

I think that's the first thing I am going to change.

Is BMW accessories the better option, or any after market options?

Aftermarket is cost effective, and should do the job. The piece that would be changed is non functional (for active aero) and just the surround garnish.

Any recommendations for after-market vendors?
Picking the car up on Sunday. Looking to change the grill right away if possible

It’s an OEM accessory from BMW (~14K fitted) when a friend bought in 2021.

Alternatively, connect with Abhay at Dealkarde. Mine is from him; acceptable quality for ~7K if I remember correctly: https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/test-...ml#post5264302

Congratulations.

Seems the G20s are retaining quite a lot of value.

Re: Review: BMW 330i (G20)

Fellow members, I have been in the market for a 330i g20 for a few months now. I have found a 330i Msport Alpine white make 2019 Aug run, with a quoted price of 32.5L, with the vehicle condition being 7.5/10 with minor scuffs visible on the rear bumper and some on the bottom areas of doors.

I was looking for some feedback on what would be an appropriate price for the vehicle as orangebook suggests 26-27L to be fair price.

Also, how is the long term ownership and reliability as I plan to keep the vehicle for 4-5 year from now.

Please note that any and all feedback is appreciated and valued as I plan to close this deal soon.

Thank you for reading and sharing your opinion in advance.

Re: Review: BMW 330i (G20)

Looking to buy a used 320d from Delhi but won't be able to travel before 2nd December. Any inspection service that can be trusted? I can send someone to oversee the inspection but the person would have a fairly limited knowledge about cars.

Please recommend a trusted source.

Re: Review: BMW 330i (G20)

I don’t get how there is no review or a specific thread for a BMW 320d (G20).

After much wait and search picked up a 2020 BMW 320d with a ridiculously low ODO with just 6760Kms for 33L

Got a 360-degree checkup done before finalising at Infinity BMW, Delhi and got an absolutely clear report. Also, already drove the car 1200 km in 2 days as I decided to drive the car back rather than to transport it via a trailer.

Coming from a VW Virtus, I can’t complain much. Though the Headlights are horrible. I struggled so much on single-lane highways as my lights were not nonexistent.

Overall, I wasn’t a bit tired even after driving 900 km in a single run with the car.

Congrats! The headlights are indeed horrible. The inner lenses are actually dummies. .

What a far cry from the Fully Adaptive LEDs from the F34 GT models.

Any workaround/upgrade that you could suggest?

Have done some research but apart from fitting ugly auxiliary lights, I could not find anything.

Fitting such lights too low also defeats the purposes and headlight level will totally spoil the looks. One option is a quality LED light bar fitted under the Active Grill area. But I feel it will look unclassy on a German sedan.

Do let me know if you come across anything.

Congratulations!! Looks super!! 33l for a 4yr old car with 6k kms is a steal.

How are you getting used to the seating position?

The F30 320D doesn't really feel like a 190bhp machine even in sport mode. Does the G30 feel any different? Does it respond well to throttle inputs?

It might sound odd to some but I love the seating position on this car. Since I've learned to drive, I am used to driving in a fairly low seating position.

Driving wise I've felt it is more than adequately powered as per my needs.

Overtakes are a breeze.

Since I bought the car in Nov, I've driven it more than 6000kms and never have I felt that I'm in a position where the power output has not been enough.

I came from a Virtus 1.0L TSI, so it feels like a huge upgrade in terms power.

Throttle response has been absolutely excellent as well. The power is indeed a small tap away. I sometimes have to drive the car in Eco Pro just to tone down the power a little while in city traffic.
