We have removed once.
Removed one seat of 3rd row in 2023 for our Ladakh trip and attached it back after returning from trip. No squeaks / noise till date.

There are no exposed wires. The area is not flat. Better practice would be to put some bedsheet in that area and then put your luggage.

We used it to put oxygen cylinders and sealed that area using clothes to prevent the cylinder from moving.

I’d like to share my experience with the newly opened service center, "Landmark Mahindra," in Hyderabad. My XUV 700 ODO stands at 28K, and I've been dealing with a persistent throttle body issue since crossing the 10K mark. All this while, I’ve been visiting VVC Motors for servicing. Despite the throttle body issue reoccurring every 3K to 4K kilometers, the service center repeatedly denied replacing the part, opting instead to clean it so that the OBD lamp warning disappears from the instrument cluster.

I encountered the same OBD lamp warning again last week, and knowing it was the throttle body issue, I decided to try a different service center - Landmark Mahindra, which opened about five months ago in the Gachibowli area, close to where I stay.

I handed over my vehicle to the SA and informed him about the recurring issue. To my surprise, I received a call in the afternoon from the SA, who proactively offered to replace the throttle body part under warranty, as the diagnostics confirmed the same problem without me even asking for it. He also created a WhatsApp group including all escalation points of contact up to the GM level - a thoughtful move that made it easy for me to reach out if needed.

The throttle body part was promptly replaced, and the vehicle was handed back to me by evening. The DEF was also refilled after notifying me about the current levels. Overall, the experience was excellent. I am also planning to get my 30K servicing done at the same service center. I hope this helps vehicle owners in Hyderabad.

Thanks for sharing this information. My 1K service experience with VVC also was not very good. For 10K service, I went to Automotive Mahindra in Attapur, which is very far from my house. Will try Landmark for next service.

I got best rates with Zurich Kotak while purchasing and it gave cashless with Sireesh Autos. I unfortunately had to claim as well and had no issues. 59K out of 62K bill was covered.

I face one issue when using Google Maps for navigation. I am used to moving the map using my fingers on my existing car with Apple Car Play to see traffic congestion on the route ahead while waiting at a signal. I am unable to move the Google Maps using my fingers with Apple Car Play version that comes in XUV700. Has anyone faced this issue?

I had exact same observation while using wife's iphone in the car for gmaps. Mine being android works much better. I Presume this is a carplay limitation.

Landmark showroom has test drive car available for almost all Mahindra cars, the test drive cars are cleaner and also latest ones. I wanted to experience ventilated seats on XUV700 AX7L and Scorpio-N. None of the existing big dealerships - VVC, Neon and Automotive Mahindra had new one available. I finally got to experience Scorpio-N automatic as well as XUV700 automatic back to back and no distance limited test drives. Based on sales experience I planned to give their after sales a try also.

The positive experience shared by you will not make me think twice to give my car to Landmark ASS for servicing.

I don't think it is a limitation on Apple Car play. I use Google maps in my Tata Safari with Apple carplay and I can move the map with my finger without any issues. I haven't experienced how it works with Android Auto, but it works in carplay for me.

The article makes absolutely zero sense and points. The logic to say that a facelift isn't around is good sales numbers in past few months?

What I believe is that Mahindra has proctored this article to bring down inventory of Current Generation 700 as they believe a lot of buyers are awaiting a facelift and hence not buying one.

The XUV700 was launched in August 2021. As the SUV approaches the 4-year mark, there have been reports speculating a possible facelift or major update in 2025. However, the latest developments suggest otherwise.

Earlier this month, Mahindra had introduced the Ebony Edition of the XUV700. This is likely to be the last update for the SUV this year. Even during the 2025 festive season, XUV700 may not get any updates or special editions. However, discounts and special offers could be introduced for XUV700 during the festive season.
