Took delivery of my XUV700 AX7L D A/T mid Jan. Havent been able to use it much as I have been travelling on work for the past 10 days. Was able to do a small 60 - 70 KM drive on Sunday, but I did not see any recordings in the 'My Video' Folder. I must call out that I havent yet installed the SD card yet. The sales advisor asked me to get it done during the 1000 KM service. Does the SD card need to be installed for auto recording? |

Another day, another problem with the XUV700. To my surprise, the air conditioning temperature controls were not working, and the air felt stuck at a temperature around 22°C. According to the technician, the car has 2-3 actuators responsible for temperature control, and it’s likely that all of them have failed/stuck. It’s been almost three years now, and I must say I’m "pleased" with the surprises the XUV700 keeps throwing my way—almost every week! |

Another day, another serious issue with my Mahindra XUV700. This time, while the vehicle was in motion, it displayed a Check Engine System warning. Dear Mahindra team, please take this feedback seriously. Your customers spending 3 Million deserve better. |

The same issue has happened to me. The coolant hose burst, and the O-ring is also faulty. I'm not aware of any official recall by Mahindra or any action being taken to address this issue. Mahindra is not taking responsibility for the faults and has left us to deal with the situation on our own. Brands like Hyundai, Maruti, and Honda tend to offer a more reliable experience compared to the challenges one faces with Mahindra. |

Update on the Issues with My XUV700 My car was with them for three days, during which they were able to address only the coolant hose issue. Unfortunately, the car was returned with a significant scratch, with paint ripped off the boot door, and the boot door itself misaligned I will drop off my car again today and provide an update on this later. After the recent software update, the system has started acting unpredictably—now the Wi-Fi keeps restarting frequently. I’ve recorded a video to explain the issue clearly. It’s been over three years, and my concerns remain unresolved. I’m really unsure when Mahindra will finally be able to address this problem. |

I can see the composite footage on the dash when I press the Camera button and also took a screenshot of the Rear camera when it was stationary - but cant seem to be able to delete that photo now ! Any pointers will help. |

In my experience loosely fitting the above cap won't result in what you have experienced. As other members have pointed out it would be either a drain plug issue or an issue with the fitment of the actual filter. I had an similar issue once due to a spurious filter that I used on my VW Polo GT TDI. If the oil cap is not fitted you would lose some oil due to spatter as the timing chain splashes oil out of the opening Has Mahindra resolved the replacement issues satisfactorily? Drive on, Shibu |

Update on the Issues with Xuv700 The display is now completely non-functional, and I was forced to drive the entire day without any information on the screen. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, including restarting the car and disconnecting/reconnecting the battery, nothing has worked. It now seems inevitable that the car will have to stay at the service center for yet another week. At this point, we are seriously considering buying a small backup car just to meet our daily needs if we choose to continue with Mahindra. This ongoing ordeal has been extremely disheartening. The "Vocal for Local" sentiment falls flat if basic quality and service standards cannot be met. I have been suffering from unresolved issues for the past three months. If anyone has the contact details of someone at a higher level in Mahindra, please share(message). |

Hi, Not sure but you could get it checked for regular high parasitic draw from the battery. Found a video on YT a few days ago. The guy neatly explained differences between modern day cars needing continous power to keep electronics alive and older ones. Attaching a link for reference. https://youtu.be/2sVFcDmvAxo?si=C4md6for6sprud1g Hope it helps. |

I agree modern cars with all these gadgets and telematics use a bit more battery than older generations but the battery dying in just a week is too much. My skoda / sister's bmw don't have any such issues. The new battery within just a month of replacement is now starting to die and the car won't start after 6-7 days of no use. I can easily park my skoda for 3 weeks and be assured it will switch on without any drama. A bit more info - I have been charging the car battery with an external charger every weekend for the past 2.5 years ever since the first battery died. If I miss a weekend the car doesn't start the next week. I have spoken with dozens of people at the dealership and they acknowledge there is a "drain" but claim it is "normal" for the battery to die within a week if the car isn't used. |

Till now all batteries were replaced by mahindra under warranty even though I had to fight for 1-2 months for each replacement except the first battery which died after just 6 months of purchase. |
