When I visited koncept gurgaon 48 on saturday for enquiring about delivery date of my booked car (which is supposed to be delivered in Feb 2025), they proposed an offer for me to buy any 1 out of 5-6 roxx's (Mix of customer cancelled MX5, AX5s) which were immediately available BUT with mandatory extended warranty and accessories worth 50k. |
You should report this to Mahindra immediately!

As the executive was showing me cancelled variants on phone and everything was verbal. This can not be reported.
Moreover, I have booked car with them so can't highlight them in red till I get my car

So, did PDI of my AX7L D AT today. Is there anything specific I should keep in mind?
Also noticed that my car has Ceat Crossdrive AT tyres, are they good? My general experience with Ceat hasn't been very good. If not, any other recommendations? |
My AX7L P AT has MRF Wanderer AT tyres. Didn't know they are providing different tyres for different models.
Took delivery of the vehicle yesterday. During the inspection noticed that the interiors were soiled in placed (handprints / smudges). Since many other BHPians here had reported similar experiences, I knew that there is nothing that can be done about it. Even though I asked the dealer to clean it, nothing much happened. Besides this the delivery experience was top notch
In a day or so I'll post my experience and feedback

Congratulations!! and the pics too please.
So I booked MX3 P AT online. The showroom wasn't involved with anything. Now they're asking me to buy accessories worth 20000 or else the booking will be canceled.

Now that you have the required proof, please tweet this to Mahindra. They are very active there, and this kind of greedy and cheap behaviour by dealerships ought to be corrected ASAP!

It's Koncept Mahindra. But after escalation and some arguments, they're okay if i dont get any accessories.
Koncept has quoted me 58K for 1+3yr insurance. Tata has quoted me 69K for 3+3yr insurance. This is going to be my next battle.
I can't do anything about Ex Showroom, TCS, Registration, and Extended Warranty.

Insurance should not be more than 40-45K. Extended warranty is optional, they cannot compel you to purchase it. My suggestion is not to give in and they will yield.
Could you also let me know when you are going for the PDI or to have a look at the car? I haven't seen a MX3 in-real till date and keen to see one as my estimated delivery date is still some time away.
I have been going through all these posts pertaining to the booking and delivery status of Thar Roxx, I want to bring to Forum attention the horrifying experience I went through and still suffering.
Thar Dealers have been indulging into unscrupulous malpractices and has been modifying the vehicle model in the system against by booking without any authority and I have very strong reason to believe that the vehicle which was allotted to me by the company has been sold in the grey market.
I had made online booking on 3rd Oct 2024 within very few minutes of the booking site going live below screen shot of the booking acknowledgement and even received the email in evening confirming the booking.
On 11th Oct 2024 I received a booking docket with the information pertaining to the Sales Consultant and Sale Manager name. I reached out to both these individuals and both these gentlemen denied having any knowledge of my booking and said will check with their system and revert back. I kept following them for a week and they told me so far they have no details of the bookings and Mahindra team will send message or email for the delivery time at that time only they will be in the position to confirm my booking.
On 25th Oct 2024 like everyone else I too patiently waited to received he update regarding the delivery period. I had made one more booking for mocha brown interior 4x4 variant for which I received the notification of delivery expected in June 2025, however for this booking neither I received any email or notification from Mahindra.
When I called up the customer care of Mahindra auto they informed me over the phone that the vehicle seems to be allotted hence you haven’t received the notification. Excited personally went and contacted the Dealer and he denied having any information pertaining to the receipt of vehicle and now begins the horror tales of how they manipulated the system.
I asked them to confirm it over the email that vehicle has been allotted and they don’t have any information after pursuance they wrote the below email on me on 26th Oct 2024.
When I logged in on the online booking site I saw that the vehicle variant and color has changed without any of my request to dealer or the Mahindra customer care. Below is the screen shot which showed the change of vehicle colour to
Nebula Blue and Variant as
MX5 MT instead of the original booking of
Everest White AX7L AT
I immediately brought this to the attention of the Mahindra support team and wrote them email on 26th Oct 2024 itself and kept following why did my booking color and variant change. So far they kept sending me stand reply it is taking longer for them to resolve the issue.
Today afternoon to my surprise I receive a whatsup image from Dealer showing the booking for
Everest White MX5D MT.
I immediately logged on the mahindra website and it shows the same.
I again sent them the booking docket mentioning again the my booking is for
Everest White AX7L AT and not MT.
They immediately send me a new screen shot showing the corrected booking for the Everest White AX7L AT, see below
When I received this screen shot and compared that with the screen shot received earlier from the dealer I noticed that the manipulation which they do by changing the PO and SO number, when I bought this to their notice they immediately deleted the earlier sent whatsapp image to cover up. The SO number for which the dealer sent me the email on 26th October is different then what they are showing today. It seems that the PO is freshly generated in current date which will affect the timelines for the delivery of the vehicle.
They have not been transparent when I asked them the share the history of the changes made in this booking they denied providing with that data. I am made to firmly believe that the original vehicle which got allotted to me was sold by the unscrupulous dealer to someone else by pocketing the premium. I have lost trust in the Dealer and the company.

This definitely makes me also feel that the dealership allocated the car to someone else who probably paid premium for early delivery. PO date should match the date you made booking online. I see buttons "Allot", "Transfer Booking" at the bottom. This is clear indication that dealership can allot the car or transfer booking to someone else.
I am in the same boat as you. I booked with Neon Mahindra in Hyderabad. I got booking docket with salesperson and sales manager names. Both have ditched my repeated calls. I booked AX7L Diesel RWD AT in White online in first 5 minutes on 3rd October, payment completed and got Booking ID. Eventually I went contacted another salesperson in the dealership and I heard same reply as you have "We can't see the booking details as you made the booking online".
Email from Mahindra on 25th October indicated delivery date between 11-November 2024 and 11-December 2024. 9 days have gone by since 11th and no contact or response from Neon Mahindra dealership.
I have zero hopes with this dealership, and they are earning money sitting doing nothing because Mahindra cars are selling on their own.
I feel Mahindra had better control on XUV700 deliveries 3 years back.

Sure once I get my hands on my car you can come check it out.
Took delivery of my car today, feeling like a kid inside finally owning a Thar. Feels very familiar in terms of engine, gearbox, and infotainment since I already drive XUV700. However, I did notice some scratches on the left AC vent. I did not give it much thought since I plan on switching to the AMG-style vents with ambient lighting later anyway. Lets see what future ownership holds, looking forward to some more subtle mods to make it more desirable.
