I have not seen any AX5L in-person in Hyderabad, so my assumption is that AX5L is not yet dispatched |
I've seen few videos posted by some youtubers showing AX5L 2WD AT and AX5L 4WD AT on YouTube. Those are dealerships cars, so Mahindra has already dispatched these varients. Not talking specifically about Hyderabad but all over India.

I made two different bookings - online one was done at 11.01 for Mocha interiors and it has the booking id 10002XXX whereas the one done through dealer around the same time for white interiors has the booking id 101XXXXX. |
For the booking done through the dealer, did you get SMS/Whatsapp/Email with the booking details? Are you able to sign in to Mahindra's site and view the booking done through the dealer?

Meanwhile, I can share my position .. I did receive email and SMS confirmation of booking done by dealer. But after the migration of booking info at M&M online (a couple of days back), it’s no more showing up in my online a/c. Though it shows up in dealer’s booking system

Yes, got the message as well as the e-mail confirmation on the same day. I can see the details as well in the online portal.
Mahindra Thar, Roxx monthly production to be ramped up to 9,500 units by January.
Mahindra Thar Roxx deliveries to commence on Dussehra; Thar 3-door available at discounts of around Rs 1.6 lakh.
Link:
I want to ask if anyone has any clue for the safety rating that the Thar Roxx will achieve during the crash test. I am surely hoping Mahindra to get that done as I remember Thar 3 door got 4 star rating. This should not get anything below that rather should get it up to 5 star this time around. Any thoughts ??

Would it make any difference ?
It's nearest rival in features is Creta, and we all know Hyundai. For BOF its rival are in house upper and lower overlaps.
Also 3D despite 4 star has been subject to accidents where the vehicle was totaled completely on minor accidents with injury to occupants. Padmani or M800 would have been more secure for occupants.
Not all aspects of NCAP are flawed but most of them are and there was a full article, will have to find the link how B2B suppliers push manufactures via NCAP to adopt new items. In addition to it NCAP like any other exam has become one where the manufactures also have adopted tricks to secure maximum marks by checking right boxes.
Remember Thar was originally to come with Side seat options also but those where dropped keeping NCAP in perspective along with the Tata 5 star pressure.

Even though deliveries start October 13, dealer isn't commenting on waitlists, said it will be 'a while'. Unsurprisingly, offline bookings with influence & incentives are being given precedence.
Booked online & paid on Oct 3 at 11:01::15. I guess we will just have to wait till October 26 for delivery status as M&M website initially stated. |
Who exactly are getting their car delivered between Oct 13-26? Is it just the celebs and the influencers? I booked within the first minute and I am told that I will know my status on October 26.
Is there anyone here who booked their car online and will get their car delivered before October 26?

Hi,
Today, got a call from Mahindra dealer regarding ready delivery against my online booking of Thar Roxx AX5 AT diesel black.
I was quite surprised. I had expected next year delivery and wanted brown interiors (cant afford ivory interiors with a toddler).
My booking was made at Panchkula Dealer in Haryana.
So yes, people indeed are getting deliveries.

You made the Booking via Dealer or Online. Had it been online then Mocha Brown would have been confirmed and Ivory conflict would have not arisen.
Are they asking for mandatory accessories or any other mandatory stuff. If they are you can stick your ground and in its regards goto Mocha.
Harbir is a better dealer than Raj.
What is the possibility of changing vehicle color after few days of the online booking? For the ScorpioN Mahindra gave option to modify booking for long time, if I remember correctly it was more than 15 days!
For the Roxx, on the website it says we have to proceed with a new booking for any changes, which means late deliveries and another 21k for the booking!
Is it possible for the dealer to do it for us within the same booking, does anyone have first hand experience for such case?

Made it online. Harbir.
Wasnt aware that Mocha brown color was available to choose. I thought it was reserved for 4x4.

One can go for 18" tyres on the AX7L when the time comes to replace the OG 19" ones, if cost becomes a factor.
Someone is suggesting that Mocha Brown is available even in the 4x2 variant. Can someone please confirm this?
