Is it just me who's expecting atleast 1 Automatic variant below 10L?

I find the sportline variant redundant due to lack of basic touchscreen infotainment and no visible improvement over classic variant. Kushaq has a well equipped onyx at 2L price bump against classic. Here, this variant has minimal add-ons. It would be interesting to see why would anyone choose sportline over classic in Kylaq if the primary reason to buy low variant is cost saving/VFM quotient.

What a masterclass by Skoda. This is the first compact suv that looks desirable to me. Sadly in my opinion it is game over for the Nexon ,3XO , Sonet & Venue. This looks like a much better package than all of these.

Also Skoda has hit itself in the foot & the 1.0 Kushaq looks like a much weaker package now , there is no reason to go for one. I just wish Skoda also launches a compact sedan to compete with the new Amaze & DZire , it would be a hoot to drive with the 1L engine

Definitely not , I just want a VAG return to this segment. They created such a well proportioned CSUV , I want the same for a compact sedan

I was not aware. My Tiguan Allspace (import) came with only for the driver's seat.

The Kylaq is generating the craze amongst all in very small amount of time unlike the Fabia, which failed to make a success in spite being a better option in the last decade. Only difference here is the car in picture is mature, priced well and seems a perfect upgrade for all those who want to upgrade to the German engineering of VAG. Also, this appears to be a much better package than the VW Polo 1.0L TSI ngl

There might be a VW derivative of the Kylaq in coming months, so, let's hold our breaths!

It looks to be a very likable no-fuss package, a safe, good looking, good performance, well packaged, decently reliable and upmarket product at a very good price point.

A perfect vehicle for a small urban family which has good performance, luggage space and safety for city as well as highway use.

Really hope it sells well, Indian car market needs Skoda/VW as much as they need us.

What is with road presence of 2.0 crossovers in India. Taigun, Kushaq looks like competition to Nexon, Sonet, Venue and this one looks like competition to Punch and Exter.
