I have given the bike to a mechanic in Koramangala by the name of Balaji. Thanks @Ajaybiz for that reference. Will keep posting on progress

Update: Shortly after posting the previous reply, we got a call from the mechanics saying that they successfully started the bike. will have a video up soon

Mate keep one thing in mind that dont use the gas tank untill you treat it, rust will eat engine within 200-300 kms.
Get her nice paint job from sarakki and chrome, Balaji knows all.

Let me start my help by revealing the TECH SPEC of FLOAT's bike>>>
BSA bond was 50cc bike manufactered by m/s.Brooke Bond India ltd at early 80's

This bike had a 50cc (to be precise 49.93cc) MOTOMORINI engine with integrated gearbox (4 speed)
Regarding suspension it had FRONT --- Telescopic fork,hydraulic damping
in REAR ---------MONO Shock absorber(gas-filled/hydro-pneumatic with adjustable spring unit)
in also had dual shock absorber in Certain models

About Bond's power-train :
Engine:-2 stroke /49.93cc /39X41.8 mm
4.6 BHP at 6500 rpm
4 speed gear box
Fly wheel magneto ignition (6 v)
Carb : Jetex type SOI-100 MOD:J-19FB
(Think Original Moto morrini had D'eleroto's type ....? )
Clutch : wet multi plate
Wheels: 2.75X17 "
UN LADEN WT : 71 kg
* In DC models (ie,with battery ) had traficators

Wow! thanks Powertwin you revived my memories of those days when I saw these bikes lined up at a showroom, your single bike made me feel as if a new bike is delivered today, wow can't explain my joy, yellow color chrome mud gaurd, mono shock it's amazing to see a bike still fresh from the battered stage.
