Might I ask what Carb setup it runs/will run on? Dual Twin-Choke, Downdraft Carter? OR Edelbrock?
Jokes apart, I sincerely hope that the simply smooth Straight-Eight fires up, and runs in a buttery smooth manner.
I once got up close with Buick Super 8 bearing registration " USJ/7447", in Salt Lake, Calcutta, 2011.
At idle, when the engine was barely turning over @ ~500RPM, the Straight-Eight was so smooth, goodness! I could hear the Carburettors sucking in the air, faintly! I could also hear the valves clicking.... That car got me in tears...I mean literally! Everything was MINT!
Right from the American made Firestone White-Walls, to the monogrammes.....
I decided then! OH! YES! I DEFINITELY ASPIRE TO BUY A BUICK 8! The car was so very majestic....so very majestic......:sigh::sniff:
Stuff dreams are made of, aren't they?
BTW- "USJ" is a Lucknow registration, is it not? Could you provide me with more details, regards to the same?
Cheers!
