Im pretty sure I saw this same car last week parked in the compound of a building exactly opposite to the American consulate (Lincoln House on B Desai road). Easily visible from the main road.

Sorry for the OT digression but I kind of like that cover/tarp over the humber- even though its in a slightly bad condition. Is it one of the light, "breathable" types? I want one better than the regular Heavy canvas-ish ones.
If so any avilable in B'bay in fiat size?

This Humber was driven regularly by a Parsi gent in Kalyani Nagar, Pune, ever since I can remember. It was a daily driver till the early 2000s when it was sold. I saw it regularly in 2 locations after that, last I heard it was sold to Bangalore. Car was very original, good runner.

Picture is shot (in the mid 90s) at East Street. Opposite the car was Tamhane Auto, one of the last who stored old car parts. I discovered him too late - when the shop was shutting down and everything was being carted out in a truck.

You must have seen the car lying in Camp. She is now with Doc in Bangalore.
