The fluid drive Dodges of 1946/47 had a lovely large clock on the glove box lid as well.

.

With due respect, Fluid drive on the DeSoto was never mentioned on the rear bumper. It had a monogram on the front section of the left fender, right below the 'DeSoto' monogram. There was another fluid drive monogram on the lid of the glove box.

The Dodge had 'Fluid Drive' written in a flowing font on the rear bumper. One such vehicle used to be featured in the Hutch mobile network ad before the pug took over.

Thanks.

While I am not too sure, I think the DeSotos had a flowing 'DeSoto' script on the rear bumper.

On the 1947 DeSoto, the flowing DeSoto is found next to the left hand head lamp and the rear bumper. Also, on the wheel caps. Rear bumper pn the Chrysler had nothing written on it.

I guess the 'big' DeSotos that bulldogji mentioned in his informative post should be with the script on the bumper.

Eagerly awaiting to see images of your cars.

Here's a picture of the rear bumper of my DeSoto. The other pictures will follow soon, but I guess we need to have another thread for the DeSoto.

This is a different car. This car is relatively rare 7 passenger car. If recollect was Ex-Kolhapur/Paltan then came to Pune, Delhi and now Bangalore for quite a few years. This was dieselized at one point. Now has the correct engine.

Cheers
