Oh boy!!!! Looks like a '62-'64. Havent seen this one on the roads of Bangalore! Other than the rajdoot-type tank cap, she looks completely original to me!!! Seems like a recent restoration. Any further details possible, Pavan?
Cheers

This two are bikes, still need some restoration, but the problem is not finding the right mechanic and parts.
Mehul are these your collection, nice yaar. I don't think your yezdi needs any restoration, its fine, just safegaurd it with oil and diesel in monsoon and then timely maintanence, that's it she will ROCK the Roads.
Your Jawa's colour is so cute I fell in love with it. The carrier behind the bike is great you can travell long distance. The tank rubber seems to be from Yezdi's, but Jawa's did come with a tank rubber in one particular model not sure which year. I liked your bikes and do keep them healthy and for any help I am there.

Thanks Chanu, yes both the bikes are mine, both are the only bike in my town and gather attention were ever they go. Yezdi I got last week from a friend, I am not geting spares, and perfect mechanic. Very difficult to maintain Jawa, as it the only Jawa in the district Erode as per my knowledge. I want a carburator for it, and some tickling sound is coming up in my yezdi too, mechanic not able to find the cause, changed engine oil today. Here are the pics.
Oh great! these bikes definately grab attention. Mehul don't worry my friend I can help you with carburettor and other parts you require and regarding the tickling noise I will speak to my mechanic who is absolute expert in Jawa's, Yezdi's about it. Mehul can you be more elobarate about the problem.
Hi Mehul,
From which vehicle have you sourced the clear lens headlight that you have fitted to the black Yezdi.
Kind Regards

That so kind of you, I want a carburettor for sure a set of fork oil seals with springs, kicker shaft with spring and copper kicker oil seal.
Talking about the tickling sound, it comes when we accelarate the engine bit hard, not continuous comes and goes, I am so scared to rides these beauties that if some problems arises I will be on road, sometimes think of selling them of in safe hands too, but not finding any one near by.
Those Yezdi's are wonderful Mehul1100! Though I am no expert in such matters, I kind of assume by their looks that they have been well-maintained. You will always find takers for them if you post it at our Classifields. Count me in if you are about to sell the newer model of the two.
:OTI had this weird experience when I was schooling at Coonoor. I had a friend of mine who had this Jawa (no number plates though!). I rode it and at times it just gets the wrong gear or something but it goes backward even as I accelerate! It was tough time initially when that happened, albeit enjoyable thereafter!stupid:
Cheers
