1970 Jawa

I started the Jawa today after about 2 months, still fires in one kick.

even my friend has a jawa,norton and a yezdi in his back yard and in running conditions.will try to get the pics as soon as possible

Great it looks. Good job man, can you tell me howmuch you spent on the paint and all? I have a Yezdi (1988) which needs paint and chrome job.

Very nice to watch a well maintained Jawa bike.Now it is so rare.

Beautiful. Very well maintained Jawa. I am seeing a Jawa after a long time, my Father had one but he sold it a longtime ago :(

Wow! Superb! Who is your mech? Im a big fan of Jawas/Yezdis and own a few myself. Now, Im restoring a 1962 Jawa. You know anyone who has a rear hub for sale?

Akshay: This is a very neatly designed motorcycle. The curves on it beat most of the beauty queens. If you notice the throttle, the cable runs inside the handlebar.

Thank you all.
This is one of those designs that is so enduring.
Some of the features include interchangeable wheels, automatic clutch, enclosed carburettor etc. Amazing ride quality.
You should see the history tab in this link to give you an idea of the evolution.

Neat Jawa.
All you need to do now is to get round foot rests and replace the silencer rubber with castle nuts.

Wonderful Restoration and its the Jawa Orginial Maroon colour which gives it more authenticity.
