It sounds more like a single, may be with a twin port setup. & the rear lights are of kinetic honda scooter.

It's obviously the mythical BMW 2 stroke Tiger!

So rare are these machines that even BMW doesn't know about them. ROTF

Here is a period ad, this one is named the Dart TT, I wonder if the III painted on the tank in your photo is a misread TT, or there was another model called the III. Marketed by Sen and Pandit.
