Black is an impossible colour to not show blemishes.

The base was the Union 1/24 kit -not much left of it, save for the radiator, bonnet, headlamps and tires & wheels.

The mud guards are ex-milk bottle caps. The "Sabino" hood ornament is clear plastic and the base of a push pin. The foot boards are aluminium foil from my favourite cigarette pack.

Unfortunately there is not a museum showcasing the cars in Indore. The Duesenberg is at the Lyon Aviation Museum in California. The Hispano Suiza J12 was sold within a year or so - believe in private hands. One of the Lagondas is somewhere in Europe. There are a few cars in India, but none that I am aware are exhibited.

My grandfather with HS21 (HS stands for Holkar State 21) he was the Prime Minister of Holkar State during the days of the Raj.
