I just hope, they don't replace it with a hazard switch. Previously, only 4 wheelers were switching on hazards on their whim and fancy, imagine 2 wheelers doing that

As motorcyclists you need to be seen by others. Running lights or always on headlight is required to avoid accidents. In India motorcyclists on road are not existing to big vehicle drivers and their attitude is that the motorcycle can squeeze through. Padestrains do not fear two wheels and cross roads whenever they feel like as they see no big vehicle approaching. Running lights go a long way shaking these styles on the road. The light approaching you fast n quick has at times stopped padestrains and make them rethink about crossing the road. I have observed this more than a few times and think especially in India where population is crossed all records and streets full of misfit drivers always on headlight is more than welcome
