Latest addition to my safety gear.

Reevu, the world's first and only helmet with a rear-view system.

@gthang--Please share a bit more on the helmet.

This is what I found after googling about the helmet.
YouTube - Reevu Helmet rearview helmet at www.reevu.com Promo

But yeah a user's opinion would be great. Gthang please share your views.

Hey Sheel,

Just got the helmet, have not had a chance to ride with yet. Reevu helmets have a built-in polycarbonate mirror system inside (top) that gives you a little strip (the little piece in the front that says Vision System) to view the rear. Sounded like a really novel idea, so went ahead and got it. Looking forward to riding with it.

First impressions:

1. Little bigger (wider and taller) than my Shoei Multitec
2. Rear view mirror takes a bit of adjusting to. Will have to use the little adjusting tool that comes with it to fine tune the position of the mirror.
3. Inner liner is very comfortable, and removable.
4. Finish is comparable to top shelf Japanese helmets.
5. Weight is reasonable too, slightly less than my Shoei.

Will update after a couple of rides with it.

Ride Safe

Here is a review of Reevu MSX1 helmet.

I checked out the LS2 range out here in Thane, he just had a single helmet (LS2 FF385 or something like that) whereas I needed the LS2 Phobia. Anyways, he said he just had a stock of 'L size' and the company didn't make S/M sizes for helmets. Can somebody confirm this?

Even I got the same reply. Wanted to go for the Phobia or Cartoon and they are quite big for my head. Ended up buying the Dragon. That moron also said the same thing for the SparX Che Guevara. After many months found the right size in another showroom :( To know more, I guess it's better to write to Vega and confirm World Class Helmets Made in India

EDIT-The shopkeeper is right for LS2. We have the option of L or XL. Try it on. If you think it is too loose, go for something better. The better the brand, the better the options.

Got myself this lid from Singapore :) Its light and the fit is awesome!

That's a neat lid...Congrats! Mind sharing the cost?

Anybody using Sidi Vertigo rain boots?

Appreciate if you could share a brief review of the same...thanks! I'm specifically looking for reviews on ventillation (since these will have another layer between feet and the material) and sizing.

Where can one find good helmets in Bangalore? (under 4K)

My 4 year old studd is due for retirement as the visor has broken off. Infact towards the end, the visor got so scratched that the outside always looked like raining. :D

I need a helmet with a scratch proof visor and preferably be a flip up type. I wear specs, hence integral chin type helmets become a pain as I need to take off my glasses every time I need to remove/ put on my helmet.
Also, if someone knows about a helmet with built-in bluetooth speakers/ microphone/ both for connecting up a cellphone/ mp3 player, it'll be just magnificent.
In fact if it has bluetooth, I won't need a flip type as I won't need to take off the helmet for every call I receive while riding. I can simply pull over, speak and go.

Alternatively, if anyone knows about good helmet speakers like tork xpro which can be attached inside the helmet, please guide.

Please suggest a make and a shop in Mumbai. Budget is preferably lesser than 5K, but can stretch. After all, nothing's more important that protecting thy coconut!

JC Road and the road parallel to JC road (Heck i am unable to recall the name of that road) have a lot of helmet shops. Apart from that Orion Yamaha near forum mall has a decent collection of helmets.

I have got visors for my SparX lid from Orion. Any idea as to what other brand of helmets can be found there?
My budget is 4K max.

Need another for regular use.
