Guys, A friend gave me this chest protector as he had no use of it having hung his boots from professional racing. Has anyone used these stuff and what do you think?

Like the FOX ones sold in the eBay and elsewhere, these aren't meant for proper road use. Yes plastic armor aren't by default used in road armor, these are primarily for off-roading. Of course you have different back protector which extend till the coccyx, which is its main job. But I'd suggest unless you're specifically using it for racing events, I'd suggest you to get a proper jacket, first for versatility, ease of use and carryability.

Yes, the Velcro, apart from the fit and finish which is really impressive for the price, close to Force Field stuffs. The velcro is one to watch, I've heard from users that velcro does tend to loosen overtime. But by default, most velcro do give up on most of the gear after a prolonged use.

If you can keep a tailor and a piece of velcro handy just in case, would almos make it last a lifetime. :)

Ashok, this stuff is great to wear under (or over) a T-shirt on a hot day or while riding off road through tight trails where there is a lot of rocks and bushes and branches. I have a similar one by Thor, but its a full zippered mesh and hard armor combination vest. Its called the Impact Rig, and my version ("SE") has a built in kidney belt as well.



They have underpants/shorts like this as well, to be worn under normal pants.

Has anyone used the Wildcraft saddle bags? I can't find any review anywhere.

I think these can be used as 2 separate sacks as well as one saddle bag.

Another advantage I found while wearing this is, I could grip the fuel tank much better, have felt the same?

These are used for motocross. These will not be comfortable for street riding or any sorts.

I've been to both. Checked out some Airohs at Bachoo before heading to PRS to get the HJC. Will pay both a visit again.

Now next question - My current job warrants that I have to be in full formal all the time (including tie), so I have to wear a professional \ executive looking footwear. I am currently using a pair of formal shoes from Clarks, but would love to have something which offers better protection and looks executive.

I did take a look at the Harley line of accessories, but did not see anything which catches my fancy.

Is there any footwear available in India which can give good protection while riding and can go well with formal dress code?
