Re: Hyundai to offer ADAS as standard across all models by 2025

This move alone will hugely help improve highway safety. I truly never thought I'll be clapping for anything safety related for Hyundai & Kia in India. I'll have no hesitation in recommending Hyundai/Kia to anyone WRT safety concerns after this.

While adaptive cruise control and other connected car features are "good to have", lane keep assist, lane departure warning & driver-drowsiness detection are extraordinarily life-savers and have a major impact in timely alerts, reducing road accidents.

To be honest, they don't cost all that much too. I'm hoping ALL car makers follow suit and implement this at the earliest.

I'm relieved that finally we will be able to say that something major about present day cars is hugely better than cars of the 2002-2010 era.

Valid concerns. I can already see the previous generation struggling to adapt to new tech in family cars. ADAS shouldn't just exist - it should be intuitive to the average driver.
