After a break, here's a set of clips from my dashcam taken on highways and Chennai city.

Reckless driving seems to be the norm these days.
You give technology to idiots, they will know how to mess around with it. Makers should be mindful of these before giving technologies. Just out of curiosity, shouldn’t the car give warnings when someone takes his/her hands off the wheel?? This is a basic failure mode, I am not sure if XUV7OO does the same.

I've never yet encountered a car that does.
I have my doubts about vehicles policing driving like this. Ultimately, the future might be full of parked vehicles telling their owners, "I am not going any further if you are going to drive like this." --- Which might be a joke, or it might be a good thing!
This happened on the NICE Road few days ago.
The Ertiga attempted a close move between the container and the oil tanker and the container suddenly moved to avoid some obstacle.
It would've been dangerous for the Ertiga driver, if there is a hit.

I built another small compilation of clips from my dashcam recordings.

I have been seeing these behaviors only increasing as days go by and more vehicles get added to the road each day.

Picking just one habit. I really do not understand
why people overtake when they are just about to make a turn. Or why they tailgate, as if it is going to get them to the turn sooner.
The worst, of course, is overtaking, then cutting across to take the turn. You can easily guess the number of wheels under the people that regularly do this!

I am 100% with you in wondering on the
why part.
Few answers have come to my mind. Impatience, compulsive need to compete (for whatever purpose) with other road users for space, the fear of missing a signal, the urge to show off, thinking that everyone else will be ok with lack of courtesy - these are the ones that stand out.
Many do it by natural behavior reinforced by our roads, lack of general awareness and crowd behavior. Among them, there are some who will realize their mistake when called out and apologize/correct themselves, while some who think we are lesser drivers and don't care for such courtesy.

Impatience is the only word that comes to mind. Sums up everything I suppose.
Spotted one biker with death wish!
I could see the indicator of tipper despite having one car ahead of me but the biker wanted to have some thrill in the afternoon!

IMO, the read culprit is the Tempo Driver, who is driving on the lane marking, effectively blocking off the last 2 lanes for anyone to overtake.
Maybe, he's the reason why the Renault (Kwid?) driver is forced to jump into the 1st lane, as he couldn't get the necessary space to plan his overtake from the 2nd lane.
This doesn't mean I'm justifying the Renault's actions, all I'm saying is it could be a moment of frustration for him to just get past the Tempo driver in a hurry, leading to miscalculated moves, potentially endangering the Dzire Driver.
And, the Dzire as well was clearly irked by the Renault's sudden swing into the 1st lane. However, Dzire did try to repay Renault aggression, but that was unnecessary. You have to be calm to be able to not engage with erratics and maniacs on our roads :).
That being said, such situations are always a part of our trips across any highway in India, and we have to be clear to identify and spot such eager, reckless, impatient drivers for our own safety!

You're right - but there's one more fault on part of the Renault - changing multiple lanes at once. The car goes from the left-most lane to the right-most lane, evidently without checking the mirrors. Always dangerous, of course. The proper way would be to change one lane at a time.

Actually visibility is a factor. After 5 years in the Storme (after the Wagon R was sold) I recently drove an 800. I realized the benefit of a high visibility car. In Storme, unless there is a bus or truck in front, I can see 2 cars ahead and can predict how the car (or 2W) will behave. The biker probably does not have the same visibility as you do.

You may be right about visibility, not opposing that. But I think his plans to overtake before the truck took turn didn't happen as there was DeZire coming in opposite direction. We should avoid overtakes, when we don't see ahead clearly.
He is not wearing helmet, either. Also, I regularly drive on that road, can assure, the visibility is not enough to overtake 3 vehicles at once, even for two wheeler. He was just going blind about oncoming vehicles. Have seen other bikes too, overtaking in similar manner on that strech, which is really dangerous.
