We'll never know. Except that for certain it is stupid. Because even if he is a "skilled" rider (haha, he probably thinks he is), no amount of skill could save him from deviations in speed or direction of other drivers that he cannot foresee.

Gentleman Bolero driver thinks he has the right of way and darts in the middle of my way at a crossing. First 10 secs.

Most probably for kicks. I too have seen & experienced these kind of riders. They'll come so close to your car while overtaking you, and some will even look back to see your reaction.

Was travelling through Patna to Darbhanga and encountered these aplenty which includes our Can driver too. I tried to educate my cab driver on this and he says “I will stop doing it, but, who will stop the others. I will be pushed down the lane and you will reach your destination tomorrow Morning”.
Couldn’t do much and I sat with my hands and lips taped. :Frustrati

I was the idiot driver yesterday. I was behind an overloaded Tata Ace going at 25kph got frustrated and overtook it without sufficient clearance.
No crash but I need to learn to be patient while driving.

Spotted a moroni few days back.

I don't know why people try to overtake when the vehicle in front is already at respectable speeds.
This lady was probably going to the same school, for which the bus was heading. It is just one kilometer away from this spot.

Saw this Alto few days back on NICE Road.

1. At first he moved to the shoulder region.
2. He saw a slow moving car there, he should've seen that before moving, but he didn't.
3. Then he changed 2 lanes and moved to right lane, without seeing what's ahead.
4. Then he crossed the truck on left lane and moved to shoulder again.
5. All this in a matter on 5-6 seconds.

Underpowered car plus drivers who lack the survival skills on Indian roads - lethal combination!

For me, a car with instant power on tap is much safer than an underpowered car.

This woman is DANGEROUS.

Definitely will not call her a lady driver for the lack of ladylike mannerisms. She kept showing her middle finger just for nicely asking her to pay attention to the stop sign and the traffic instead of being on the phone. and yes she was driving with both the ORVMs closed and dangerously weaving through the traffic. Even the traffic marshall showing the stop sign looked shocked as to what the hell is she doing.

While she has cut the line rather dangerously, I cannot help but notice your rashness when overtaking her on the single lane inspite of a two wheeler guy stopped there. Close indeed.

Imagine making the decision to take a U turn on the highways around a curve, driving on the wrong side, just to save 500m of extra driving to get to the intersection. :Frustrati
