I think that is Sach Pass. Sinthan top road is not that dramatic, though scenery is very good.
you can take that if you have time

Saach Pass is from Chamba in HP to Kishtwar. Sinthan top road from Kishtwar to Anantnag seems to be complete tar road. Not sure on the Doda-Kishtwar route.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQFcyka51n8 - which is this place ? Pangi ?

My Plan is set for a 19th June Start from Delhi.

My target itinerary is as follows:
20th June - Kud/Patnitop
21st June - Kargil
22nd & 23rd June - Leh
24th June - Turtuk/Diksit
25th June - Spangmik/Merak (Via Wari La or Shyok as per conditions)
26th June - Tso Moriri
27th June - Upshi/Sarchu
28th June - Keylong
29th June - Manali
30th June - Chandigarh/Delhi
1st July - Buffer Day

As you can probably see, we're targeting mostly moderate distances each day, and not rushing things.

I'd love to meet up / team up, with other BHP-ians, who might be in the vicinity in the above duration.

Look out for a Gurkha and wave me down. Cheers.

I would probably cut a day in Leh and see the other side of Nubra river when you go to Nubra valley (Diskit) - the drive till Sasoma - I have been on that route many times and somehow every time I go there, I feel that the drive back from Sasoma towards T-point is so beautiful. While going towards Sasoma is "normal" in terms of Ladakh standards - the drive back is much more scenic to my eyes.

Leh is a good place to break your journey and have some pizzas and to be around more people, so its good to be in a lively place, but not much else besides creature comforts.

Ok - Suggestion accepted. My itinerary is very flexible, and I'll probably spend extra time at a place I like. So, essentially, you are asking me to do the Panamik stretch as well, and go beyond up to Sasoma. Thanks for the tip.
Will you be in the vicinity in this duration?

Yes, Leh if you want to be in a more lively environment, and Nubra if you want to spend time in a more scenic place.

I am currently in Leh, leaving for Nubra tomorrow. I could be in Nubra by the time you are here. My plans change very fast and depend on work.

I would disagree. The scenery is pretty drab there. Nothing really exciting. If you want excitement Chushul/Kakasang La, Kyun Tso's etc., are the correct places to hang out :).
Then there is the Agham Shyok Stretch.

Thanks Tanveer Ji. As I said, I'll decide on the go, depending on how good I feel about some place.
By the way, the Agham Shyok route is definitely on the radar, if it is possible, on the day I am there. Fingers crossed.

Best part is, there is no permit needed as there is no check post for Wari La.

Heck even foreign cyclists often try wari la as its the ultimate training ground. High altitude, killing straight up climb from either side.

This is a pass which will have your engine weeping and fans blowing full throttle. If there is any problem with your cooling system, you will discover it on this climb.

^ Fingers crossed.
On a side note, given the remoteness of this stretch, what do you think one should do, if they have a problem or breakdown? Are there any BRO posts around, that can provide assistance? Does BSNL network operate on this stretch?

You walk back to Agham village. There is always a BRO dozer and a camp there.
Otherwise, there is a camp right at the Shyok river itself.

^ Noted. I guess, keeping a record of the location and distance of the camps, may probably be a good idea, on some of the routes not frequented by tourists. Many thanks.

I am planning a trip to Spiti Valley leaving on 17th June. I heard it from a unofficial source that the road from Rampur onward is full of landslides. Any one has any updates ?

Tapri area near Rampur. Diversion signs are marked. Add 2 hours to your trip planning
