Day trip for large group

Hi Folks
We have a large group - we are looking for a place in bangalore- something that is about 20-25kms from city at the most where we can have a DAY event. This is planned for the next month
This is all families we have and we are looking at about Rs 500 per head at the most.(maybe 550). The place needs to have a conference hall of about 300-350 people which is the strength we are expecting
I know that there are many folks who go on off sites from their companies, so people can suggest
I have a few places where need to find out more
1. Eagleton
2. Manipal County
3. Confident Cascade
Kindly give your inputs and experience of places
Thanks

There are many on the Bellary road.

- Club Cabbana
- Olde Bangalore (Olde Bangalore ? Resort & Accommodation in Bangalore)

Not sure of the pricing though. Good for family and corporate day picnic.

club cab is way out of budget- the last time we literally squeezed the life out of them -paid about 550 rs, not sure they will entertain us again
will look at olde bangalore- any experiences?

Some folks of our company have gone there- will look at it, not sure if they have a conference room for 300 people which is a must for us

I think then even Olde may be expensive. They charge around 1000 I think. But the experience was very good. Food was good as well.

Hi Guys,

Need an urgent suggestion on a weekend trip with friends...

I have already been to
Hoganekkal,
Nandi Hills,
Sangam,
Mysore,
Bandipur,
OOty,
Pondicherry,
Wonder la,
Film City,
Coorg,
Goa,
Many more if I remember..

All friends are of age group 22-25 (working). A resort will also do, booze and all. If resort - per head 1000 bucks, if a trip - Budget infinity

Pleaseeeee suggest ASAP, planning to leave tomorrow night and get back to work on Monday.

Resorts around Bengalooru

Team,

We are planning an offsite with my team of around 25 people.
We are planning a night out on one of the weekends in April 2010.

Budget is 2k max per person :( excluding travel

Travel should be about 200 kms from bangalore.

I have heard of some basic homestays near Masinagudi...but dont know where to approach,

Just wanted to know if anybody knows of similar places

Cheers!
Satya

You may find some homestays in Coorg?
Also how about a beach? Pondicherry ? (Although it may be hot and also its about 360Km)
And you always have Kabini, Nagarhole and Waynad.

Re: Resorts Around Bangalore

Am looking for a weekend resort around bangalore, say 100 kms from the city. I am looking to take my 8 month old kid along. So Hill stations and forests are ruled out as my son cant take the cold weather.

Any suggestions of a resort near bangalore that is peaceful for a family to stay for a day or two?

Hi,

One of the good resorts around Bangalore and close to it is Guhantara resorts . Very good resort with excellent service and food .

It's slightly on the upper price band but it's worth it.

Re: Resorts Around Bangalore

There is a resort a few kms from Hoskote on the Hoskote - Kolar road : Egypt themed "Confident Amoon" - I don't have any feedback/experience with the place - but take a look.
