-Hate to see jasmine flowers strewn on the seats, drives my wifey nuts! The dried up jasmine flowers give off a bad stink, which I am quite allergic to.

-Always fear that I might run over a child while driving through my residential area...so whenever I see kids, the car almost crawls on all fours.

-Suffer from Obssessive Compulsive Disorder too. I need to check umpteen times if the car is locked.

-Have this lousy habit of regularly shifting in my seat as if some worms are squirming beneath me, God help my co passenger!

Ranjit, what kind of a voyeur are you that you want to know my quirks? :P

I hate having anything inside the car. I have this crazy mindless thought that it is increasing the weight even if its just the tissuebox. I try to keep it as clean as possible.

Also I always park facing towards the gate so that the next time someone needs to go out its ready to go. same with my bikes. and before rolling the wheels I always remember the almighty.

lol...didn't think of it quite like that!! But it's nice to know there are "different types of normal", no?

Parking...oh, boy! If the bays are *marked*, I just HAVE to get the car (reversed in) park squarely in the middle, equidistant from the lines on either side. I actually check this when I get out of the car...drives my wife nuts, especially on those rare occasions where I might be just a coupla inches off on one side and then get back in again to re-manouvre!!! She goes something like:

GTS
Me too have this disorder.

- I hate to have anything on my Dash. A piece of white paper puts some
reflection in my windscreen, which i hate.

- No hanging things on the rear view mirror inside the car.

- Always checking for the odd sound / smell

Dude thats Obsessive Compulsive Cleaning Disorder....but the weight of the tissuebox is really Weight Obsession...
I suffer from Obsessive Compulsive Cleaning Disorder myself...no stickers no bad smell...no strewn papers...no coins...no dirt ...the cleaning cloth also has to be folded neatly....

next quirk....
I have to go all around the car everytime i start the car...that is not as a superstition but to see if there are any scratches or any changes caused by uffcourse the kids in my complex on their cycles...
get really paranoid if someone is learning to drive or ride a bike near my car... just stand there till the guy crawls say 6 feet beyond the car...hehe...

and uffcourse like everyone....check if the doors are locked or not atleast 'N' number of times...and check again and again if the lights are switched off....

and that common parking problem many have quoted!

and parallel parking is one of the test you haev to pass in UK for getting a DL

Hehe...to park the car,i have to drive it up the ramp like thingy to get into the house.Even witha screwed up clutch on the baleno, alwasy get the car up with perfect clutch control...no over revs,no shuddering...just perfect.

Also another thing is that when i park the cars behind each other, test my judgement by seeing how close i can get to the other car.

We sail in the same ship . I have to check @least 3/4 times before I leave my car in the parking lot.

Mine seems to be an interesting combination

Look at tires every time I go near the car,
lazy to get in to gear 1 even to go over taller bumps,
I hate it if I am forced to break lane order (Id like to be in one lane),
car has to be always paralell to markings in parking lot
always reverse in half clutch enaged

WEll I cannot say the same about my bedroom though. The rule only applies to my car and bikes. I axually removed the sariguard and grabrail on both my bikes to reduce the weight.

I keep a size 10 spanner in the glovebox and use it to pick the stones out of my tire treads Only problem is, once i reverse out of the parking spot, half of them are stuck back in there!
