Konkan region: Advice on routes & places of interest

Hi,

Could people kindly advise what should be the route to take to ensure we get to see the places of interest in the Konkan region specifically between Alibaug and Ganpatipule.

The Fern at Dapoli would be the base and we have around 4 full days to go around.

If somebody could pitch in with suggestions for restaurants-that too would be greatly helpful.

One I can think off is the Raigad fort. (Apart places on the coast line).

I've gone further south Jaigad to Kasheli/Adivare on MSH4, and this section is in very good condition. So Malgund, Arey Warey, Ratangiri can be done on MSH4 itself. National Horror 17 is a mixed bag. Didnt have very encouraging news on Poladpur-Chiplun, so took Umbraj-Patan-Chiplun which is mostly good. Updates are less than a week old.

Had bookmarked Karde and Hedvi beach. Jaigad lighthouse is worth a visit for the views, its open only 4-5 pm.

You can visit the Torlai fort (and lighthouse if it is now operational) that are near Kashid.

As for restaurants, the food served at most homestays and eateries in the town is excellent.

Forts, Temples & Beaches I think would be the most popular places to visit in that stretch. Few that I could think of:
