Going to Goa mid-Feb for a week. Looking for good accomodation preferably on / near a beach.
Don't want something very costly, but nothing cheap and painful either.
Can someone point me in the right direction?
If someone can share their recent experience in Goa, it will be nice. A few pictures from Goa will be better!
Hi
Please check out the resorts on Anjuna beach as well. Anjuna is quieter than Baga/Calangute but quite close to those areas. So you can travel to Baga/Calangute for adventure sports etc and be back. Also the beach itself is different (it has a rocky part and a normal sandy part). But if you wont have your own vehicle travelling could be an issue.
Sameer
@Koenisegg, i will be in goa from Feb 21-24 and i am booked into Osbourne Holiday Resort-Goa, near calangute beach. I made this booking via. makemytrip.com and i got it for 1500 bucks a night.

I know someone who rents out a flat at Calungute beach. We stayed there and its very comfy and economical if you are a slightly large group. Should charge around 1.5 - 2 k.
Let me know if you are interested. I will PM you the number.
Many thanks for the replies.
Booked Taj Fort Aguada a few days ago.

Anyone going to be in Goa on 23rd / 24th February? I am coming there for some personal work and will most probably be free to catch up with any of the Goan members on 24th evening. Let me know.
Hai,
If Taj was the territory, there were exciting options like Majorda (one of the best), Raddison, Kennelworth, country inn or Jupitar beach resort (nearest to the beach, earlier called the Beach). Just got back from Raddison, 8th to 11th, we were a group of 450 people for an official event.
Like someone had posted, don't miss Titos, it's full of energy and gret crowd. Taj is a blow-out place, but I guess you can't rip inside there.... and taste all the beaches people have mentoned here.
Have fun,

My 2 cents,
First of all "Goa is not a place, it's a state of mind"
There is lot to explore in Goa, it's not only the beaches.
Start from the south of Goa, like Colva and head up north.
Bogmalo beach near Vasco is straight out of the movie "The Beach"
Guru's on Anjuna beach can help you with the bikes.
AND
Most important whatever you do ride or drive safely.
After all you are in Goa.
