Cherai Beach Resort - reviews wanted

anyone stayed at cherai beach resort recently?any reviews? or suggestions of any other resorts or homestays on cherai beach, planning a trip next week there with family.

Any latest first-hand updates on the resort? Is it a good VFM proposition?

I was there at Cherai last week and it's quite a decent place and good VFM for the current off-season rates. Food is good, service is good, rooms are clean and neat and the resort is very well maintained. Ofcourse, location remains a key advantage with sea on one side and backwaters on the other. I'd recommend it.
