Kolkata-Jaipur Information required

Hi,
I plan on doing Kol-Lucknow-Jaipur with my wife and son (9 months), in my i20. The idea is to do Kolkata-Lucknow on day 1 and halt there, as I have my relatives. Stay there for a day or 2 and then do Lucknow- Jaipur.

Experts, please advice on the road conditions.. etc!!

Kolkata-Lucknow in a day with a baby may be difficult.
You may want to consider the following itinerary
Day 1: Kolkata-Banaras on AH1/NH2.
Day 2: Banaras-Lucknow on AH1/NH2 then take NH-330 A (from Allahabad Byepass)
Day 3: Stay at Lucknow
Day 4: Lucknow-Kanpur-Agra on AH1/NH2. Suggest not to proceed to Jaipur on this day, as the stretch from Kanpur to Agra is atrociously bad (at least 5-6 hours) and worst of all full of diversions. So once you reach Agra , overnight.
Day 5: Agra - Jaipur on NH-11.
