Need some suggestions regarding an upcoming Rajasthan trip from Bangalore on 17th Dec.

The route is Bangalore -> Pune -> Ankleshwar -> Ahmedabad -> Jaisalmer -> Jodhpur - Chittorgarh -> Udaipur -> Ankleshwar -> Pune -> Hubbali -> Bangalore

The vehicle is 4 months old and 1800 kms on ODO. I will be the only driver and hence taking enough breaks to keep it moderate except first day.

A few questions on preparedness and tourism purpose:

1. What to carry: Tyre inflator? Dashcam?
2. Not yet done but planning to learn how to change tyres
3. Suggestions on lunch/breakfast options
4. Suggestions on any local guide/related options in those 4 places in Rajasthan including Tanot and Longewala.
5. Suggestions if you feel there are any specific rules in any of these areas regarding outside state vehicle.

Thanks in advance.
Nice long roadtrip!

1. Yes, carry a tyre inflator. Dashcam - always good to have.
3. On your drive till Ahmedabad, there are plenty of options. You will find good eateries and joints at 20-30 km stretches. Ahmedabad - Jaisalmer route, please see this post I wrote a few days ago: https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/route...ml#post5393308 (Rajasthan Road Trip : Queries)
4. You can opt for guides in the Jaisalmer fort, Jodhpur fort, City palace in Udaipur, and Chittaurgarh fort.
5. No specific rules for out of state vehicles. Keep your documents handy - Digilocker docs work in both Rajasthan and Gujarat. Be careful of speed limits as you drive through Rajasthan - especially around big cities like Jodhpur, Pali, Abu Road, Ajmer. Most stretches have speed limits of 80 kmph.

Happy driving!
