CAT
This is Elantra GLS, BSIII, Dec 2005 model (the proforma Invoice does mention all this), that why this price.

For Elantra GLS, BSIII,Jan 2006 the price is still 8,75,000 (on road, keys in your hand).

There is absolutely no difference between Dec 2005 and Jan 2006 model.

Looks like Team-BHP community completely failed in stopping you from buying the Elantra... We Suck!

But look at the bright side. You just bought an excellent car for a stunning price!!!

Fantastic deal there! What colour did you get. I hope the dealer has some more 2005 mfed Elantra's

Question for Steeroid.. Replace that grille with what? Mind you..I had the same thought..But I don't thing there are any after-market replacements available.

FE is the major concern in an Elantra, but if you go for the CRDI option i feel that Elantra is what you are looking for...inspite of your opening statement

my co-bro owns an elantra petrol,
drawbacks are....
mainly FE, he gets around 6kmpl, clutch is hard for city driving (if you have a driver like he has, its ok), spares are expensive and is not a good looker

you are choosing an elantra as it suits your budget, don't do that as you might end up regretting your choice and cars depreciate and elantra does not have a good resale value
