I think rear spolier enhances the look of Fiesta (esp in black).

There are many threads on parking sensor. A parking sensor is always useful (even for the best drivers) in tight parking situations. I feel you could check if you are getting used to the length and width of the car fast enough. If you feel you are not able to manage, you could add it any time later. But I feel the black sensors spoil the look of rear bumper. I guess the dealer could paint it for you in body color (but dont know if it will affect the sensing capability)

Shackman,
Is Defogger that important in a city like Bangy. Up here in delhi or in the Hills it would have come in handy in the winters but i doubt that you would be using it too often in Banglore

parking sensor, does make the bumper look bad... i've decided against it, probably later.

my 2 cents on rear defogger - its usefull in places where it rains a lot.

I had it on my civic in states and found it usefull, but in delhi, i havent missed it 1 bit in last 4 years. It usually rains in small bursts. Even if windshield becomes misty, i just stop somewhere and wipe off the water. Then i set the AC to external circulation and defogger and that clears away all mist from front and back windshields.

Shackman,

Is defogger the only deciding factor for you between Exi and Zxi? It is indeed useful in Bangalore, but how many times in a year would you use it.

There are aftermarket defoggers also available. Not sure how effective they are.

Defogger is very much the factor in tilting towards Zxi, apart from this is the
Programmable Keyless Entry with Auto Relock( i'am adding the COBRA security system alongwith this) .

Defooger cannot be installed on Exi model, did check with the guys.

thanx

I was thinking of Fiesta before I finally booked Aveo. I found 1.4 ZXi more VFM than EXi. Also looks wise ZXi was better. The headlamps on EXi is not definitely the most elegant one.

Booked Fiesta ZXI

Dear All,

Firstly I thank everyone on this forum for posts that have helped me in booking the Fiesta 1.4 Zxi from Cauvery Ford. Gone in for Platinum Colour. The car has gone for registration as I write this and I am scheduled to get delivery on Friday.

I froze on the Fiesta simply because of driving pleasure.

Deal : 11k Corporate Disc
Additional accesories: 3M Sun film (Grey) , Cobra Security System, Leather Seats.

Just one doubt, Is it worth spending Rs 5,500 for COBRA security System?

Thank you all for your valuable comments and suggestions.

Thanks & regards!

The OTR(B'lore) for Fiesta Zxi is 745,000, with an 11k corporate Disc.

Ford does'nt provide Cash Disc. So, went in for leather seats, though i feel
i should have gone in for Stanley. But, the company fitting looks good, and the leather seats provided were of gud quality.

Other Accesories :
1. 3M Sun Film( Rear Windshield + Side Windows + Strip on the top of the Front Windshield) Costing Rs 2200

2. Car Kit + Perfume for Rs 700

3. Reading Lamp: Flexible long stalk can be turned to provide light for rear passengers Costing rs 550 ( Dad Insisited On this)

All this three accessories were rounded off to 3,000.

Planning for a Gear Lock or Steering Lock or Brake Lock...Any Suggestions?

Thanx
Shackman
