Which Diesel @around 5-6 lacs?

how much would a 2003 and recent Ascent cost in bangalore? Run about 40K kilometers, single owner?

I did check out with a few dealers; they have quoted the following:

2003 Ascent-CRDI - 5lac
2002 Ascent-Petrol - 3.6lac - (Gas kit fitted)
2000 Ascent-Petrol - 2.9lac

2005 Baleno - 4.8lac
2003 Baleno - 4.3lac

2000 Honda Citi - 4lac

On all the above prices, one can negotiate between 10k to 25k lesser than what is quoted.

As your preference is sedan, would suggest you go for Logan DLE (base model) / Indigo DICOR (basic version) which will also suit your budget.

how much will it cost to add fog lamp on the LDI version.
and i'm planning to put alloy wheels in place of steel wheels. is there any aftermarket alloy (good quality) that will fit keeping the tire profile same.

In this price go for Logan, driven it once n its quite stable on highways....... but go for swift diesel if boot is not a concern its a pleasure to drive this car much more responsive than petrol version.

i hear a few Hyundai dealers are selling Accent CRDi's at a bargain.
check those out.

i think the company's stopping(stopped ?) production of the CRDis, so u might be able to get a real good deal on them

LDI Version lacks Tachometer too. I think its hard to get fitted in after market.

Want a Petrol car below Rs. 6 lakh OTR in Rajasthan.

The Car must be a 3 box car. Will be mainly used for ferreting employees around the City. Will be sometimes used by us. Some highway use too, but not much. Show room price upto 5 lakh or so.

Would prefer local service in Ajmer. Dealers only for Maruti, Hyundai, Tata, (I think Ford has a service center).

Shortlisted:

Ikon
Esteem
Indigo
Accent
Suggest Any other??

Which will be the best?
