8 to 10 lacs, soft suspension, leather interior

Hello everyone,

My budget is also 8 to 10 lacs. Requirements are:

Soft Suspension
Nice Interiors
Leather Interior

I did test drive Cedia, Corolla (not yet City).

I am planning to drive myself (only within city - not a frequent long distance traveller). Please advice.
thanks

I think cedia would be the best option in this range.

The Cedia is a great option. But could be over 10 lakhs on road.

NHC (New Honda City for the Greenhorns) is a great car for the city. Nothing to beat it in terms of interiors. Soft handling, very artificial steering but grea for city driving.

leather can always be done @ Stanley/Ovion.

You should consider the City iDSI CVT. Great city car.

Hearing about soft suspensions, the Verna comes to mind. But i guess you are looking at bigger and better things. The corolla might be a good bet.

Both Cedia and Corolla have realtively hard suspension. And Corolla with leather would be above your budget I suppose. City certainly offer softer ride but not sure which variant has leather option; does the new VTEC offer it? You should try optra as well.

So you are obviously looking for a comfortable city drive?

Option 1 : NHC. For city driving, this car will keep you happiest. Also check the CVT transmission out.

Option 2 : Optra. Great interiors + nice ride quality.

Option 3 : Cedia. Competent suspension but okay'ish interiors.

For me it would be a touch one between the optra magnum and the cedia (in sports trim).
Magnum for the great balance between comfort, interiors, fuel economy and driving pleasure.
Cedia simply for the driving pleasure.
One thing, i have not driven either but the advice is based on general views towards these two cars.

manson.

Go for Cedia. I did the test drive on Saturday. Car is great in handling and ABS works superb. No GC issue. 3 years warranty and buy back guarantee also there. ACT will get back to me the detials in a day or two about this. ACT service is also good.
I am planning to go for sports Red.

My Suggestions go in for the Honda City..........A pleasure to drive in city with a great ownership experience. Steering is an issue but can be overlooked as compared to other credits.
