Honda City any day. The optra is too boxy inside and doesnt have the refinement of a Honda. Honda city hands down any day.

I'd pick the optra out of the choices given, its much more comfortable than either the fusion or the city, and looks better too in my opinion. And if you can stretch your budget then take a serious look at the octavia.

Also and 8 lakh octavia is on the way.. it has a 1.6 engine.. shantanu can u post the video of the jazz and nhc..
i think Ls not worth the extra cash of 70K i prefer black mirrors to body coloured as scratches are prominent on the body ones..

Here is my update, I finally bought Optra 1.6 with beige interiors. Costed me 7.14 Lacs exshowroom(Delhi), I got 42K dealer discount.

So far its going smooth and am really enjoying it.

BTW: Its the NY edition without airbags and ABS. I am not missing tilt steering or height adjustable driver seat. The only thing that i am missing is rear seat center hand rest or cup holder.

Thanks everyone for help and advice here

Hey Gutsy,
enjoy your new car.
Do post some pics and remember to run it in carefully.
The rear and front armrest can be fitted as an accesory.
Its rs4500 for each.

Thanks, I will try to post pics by this weekend, i have to fix my FireWire port on my computer. I am really enjoying it, having driven Camary for long in states, I can now relate to the comfort that Optra is giving me.

A quick question, how good is gear lock for safety? I am planning to get one, dealer has quoted me Rs 4000 for that, where in market outside its for Rs 2600/-

Probably the single most reason to go for that car. Congrats.

No, I am using windows. There was some problem, with my computer as a result I unloaded all drivers.

I have to load driver for firewire. Use firewire to connect to my camcorder. BTW: for desktop you can buy firewire port for Rs 1000 in the market.
