Well guys.
The decision is almost made for a city unless i can find a good used corolla.
When is the VTEC expected?
Will it be worth the wait.
Any other good car expected in a couple of days for around 7?

Well unless i get a good deal on an corolla (yeah another one),
Theres going to be a silver city or a red lancer parked in my garage.
If i buy the car from Ahemdabad, i can get a discount of around 35K on a city and if i get a lancer from kolapur, i can get it for 6.35L.

Ya dude.
Its brand new.
I saw a purple one and there is one thing that is bothering me.
The Blue lancer i saw in metro motors showroom had its trip meter disconnected.
Could it have been used before selling?
Oh and they do have a test drive vehicle. They say my vehicle is physically located in their bhiwandi stock yard

Yes Lambo they do have a test vehicle and they do disconnect the odos. The odo of the 1.8 invex which i drove was also disconnected. The sales guy also was honest to tell me that they plan to sell the car to a customer eventually later

Guys, they have a 1.5 LT lancer for testdrives specifically but my question is why was the odo of this specific car disconnected ?
I told him that if i found out if the car was used for test drives i would screw his b***s out.
Can i make him sign a statement saying that the car was not used for testdrives?

I see Lancer was not even under consideration when you started this thread. The poll doesn't have Lancer as one of the choice. Similarly in my case I was not willing to consider Maruti during my initial search, finally I ended up with Baleno. The exposure and help provided by this forum finally helped me to get to the right choice.

Well we all were anti-lancer but a 100 km drive in that changed our views.
