Ex showroom price+registration charges/lifetime tax+insurance = OTR price. On top of the OTR you can add whatever accessories you want. Sometimes accessories are given free.

0,12,999 -----> Lifetime Tax + Registration
0,00,000 -----> Insurance - Free offer from Ford

Lucky you! The lifetime tax/regn here is 65K. I think it's more than 1 lac in Bangalore.

I believe the 65K includes your insurance, handling charges as well.

6.99L ex show room - okay
LIfetime (15 years) Road tax will be some percentage of show room price.
For example, in kerala it is 6%- some state 8%,10%, 12% and so on.

However your dealer charging Rs.12999 which coming around 1.8596 % of
the show room value.?

How far is the RTO from your place?
If nearby please go to the RTO and check about Road tax percentage.

Somthing wrong in your dealer calculation or may be mistake in writting the break-up?

Just tried checking the On Road Price using Carwale.com and they calculated on 1.95% then checked again for ANHC and for that they calculated for 2.05% . Seems more or less the RTO is around 2% which is ok, I wont bargain much on this with dealer and I have to get other things done from him.

The 65K probably includes handling and RTO bribes but it does not include insurance. The insurance is an additional 28K (if you take the free insurance from Ford), or you can buy it from outside for about 18-20K for the SXi and S. 3rd party insurance charges are ~ 1800 or so for the Ford petrol as it's bigger than 1.5 litres. For Diesel, 3rd party insurance is just 700 bucks. Not fair.

here at my place the accessories are quite expensive, i am thinking of purchasing the same when i will visit noida or delhi.
i will check one more time with the dealer and then go for Easy carry accessories like scuff plates and sports pedal from another dealer.

@thebeastfieast, if you like to go for ICE, i suggest go for Kenwood Touch Screen, i have seen and felt the same in Cedia and it is just superb, the one which sony is offering does not have a SATNAV.
