IMO a skoda laura L&K would suit the bill, Cruze is definitely jittery on sharp bends and Goan roads have plenty of them. Apart from Panjim which has relatively broad tarmac, rest everywhere there are smaller roads with many bends with / wothout banking.
Cruze lags behind laura when driven in this kind of environment, also the interiors of Laura are better than the ones on Cruze.

Look no further than the Sonata Embera diesel. Backseat is a sofa, good ride quality and the latest version is surprisingly improved. The most underrated car in the D segment, and one that suits your needs to the T. Neither the Laura nor the Cruze can touch the Embera for rear bench comfort.

Take a test-drive. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

^^
True, but the Sonata now feels oooolllllddd. (stretch it a bit more)
It is much like the new Lancer sold these days.
You buy one, but somehow it will not give a 'new fresh car' feel.

The Laura does exactly the opposite. It has the WoW factor, even on the Diesel.

Its a choice between form over function.
A good TD for your folks, in these two, should give you your answer.

Already choose the Laura in white. Plus I some how always disliked the Embera. Plus this will be the 4th Skoda coming into the garage.

Congratulations indra for a nice and safe choice. The Laura is indeed one of the best cars in our market and with its proven diesel engine, its definitely a good choice.

+1 to that. If you can still take a td do so, you will come away pleasantly surprised, and I believe a lot of discounts are on offer for the same

BTW from where do you get the ovals? Is it that sticker guy opposite your factory?

I buy the oval D from Germany itself. The sticker guy does my company logo stickers for my cars.
