Baleno seems to be a GREAT car for its specs/features & Pricing. Just curious to know with which manufacturer and car does it face the close competition.

Is it not Baleno will burn a hole in your pocket on spares

go for the ford ikon 1.6 as u wud need that responsiveness when u try to overtake other vehickes on hilly terrain.since handling and ride quality are concerned ion is one of the best.with the baleno,u wud have to upgrade the tyres and this will cost u extra plus u get more features wen u compare the ford ikon 1.6 with baleno lxi.dont think that baleno vxi falls in ur budget.both the cars are pretty good considering ur requirements.u have decide which has a better service network near ur area.do tell us what u finally decide.in ur shoes i wud have gone for the ikon.....(which i did, chose ikon over the baleno when i went out to buy a car).
